Buster Loves The Snow As Much As I Do

Bless him! He's a beautiful dog isn't he Grandpa Bob! Our cat won't entertain the snow, she looks with distaste at the white outside, although having said that as I have said previously it is very rare to get snow, it's nearly always rain and she certainly WON'T get her paws wet, she is a madam and madam's do not go outside when raining! Does he come in and shake off the snow indoors of his fur?

Oh yeah, Buster is having a great time running in the snow. It reminds me of my daughter's dog when she comes over to visit. She loves to run around my back yard that way. I don't have any pets, I which I did.

Well last year we had some snow which was actually good but not as deep as yours and Gissi was not to impressed I shall explain in short lol he is low to the Ground lol and something was getting cold I think as he never stayed out long lol

When we had our big snow and our White Christmas in 2004 our dog wasn't even born yet. My cat didn't like to too much but she would go out in it. My daughter has two dogs and her youngest one loves the snow, he is a boxer, her little rat terrier don't care for it much but she does play in it only because he does I think.

Yes, Zoe being as big as she is and with all that hair, she loves it..I even remember back when we had really cold rain and she would just jump and play in it..She is a crazy dog..

I do not have dogs anymore. I can imagine Buster, though. I will not get snow days anymore, since I do not work at the school, but that is okay. I like what I do.

It is supposed to snow here tonight and into tomorrow morning. We have a new puppy and I hope it does snow so I can see how she reacts to it. She doesn't like the cold very much though. The other day we took her outside to pee and it was really cold outside so she ran back up to the porch and peed on my porch. I wasn't too happy but I did get a laugh because she was too cold to pee in the grass. LOL

I've been hearing how cold it is in your neck of the woods and all the snow. We just had our first major snowstorm yesterday, and more is expected tomorrow. And, yes, I was actually out yesterday too as I had some errands to do. Well I have two indoor kitties, but when there's a snowstorm, I bring some snow indoors make a tiny little snowman, put it in a pan, and let the kitties "explore" it. LOL

I love watching my four dogs when we get our first snow....they act like little kids. And when I come outside I can almost hear them saying "Look at this white stuff" as they bark and dance around in it. I had an Alaskan Husky when i was a kid and she would literally stick her tongue out to catch the snowflakes....oh and the pulling the sled thing is genetic....the girl had never been hooked up and was always a house dog spoiled rotten...but the first time my brothers and father hooked her to a sled she was standing tall and had a blast pulling us around. I miss her so much and ironically my girl MIMI is just like her even though she is a border collie/beagle mix. Well, except for the sled thing.....but personality yeah. It's fun watching them isn't it?

Awww he is having a blast! I love to see dos running and playing in the snow... they look so happy! He is such a cute dog!

Haha...what a wonderful picture. My dog used to love the snow as well. It didn't matter how much snow we had, she would always be willing to go out and play. We would throw snow balls for her to catch in her mouth. She would also like to bury her nose in the snow and then come up with the snow still on it. It was so cute to watch. I hope you have lots of fun playing with your puppy in the snow!

we do not have snow in my country so i don't know if my terrier will love snow, but one thing he likes is playing with water and eating ice..he always run around the rain, while he run around when he knows i'll give him an ice..like an popsickle he will lick on it and chew it..

I love hearing about Buster, he's so full of the love of life and always seems to enjoy whatever you do! He's sensible too! Go out in a blizzard! No way! but I bet he's back out there enjoying himself as soon as it stops! Is he digging for lost bones again? Only had a couple of dogs who've seen enough snow to play in it. One loved it and would bury himself in it, the other hated it! Mind you he was a small terrier and the snow was deep!

I wish we had snow! Especially at this time of year. I live in Australia and it is really hot here at the moment, because our Christmas in the summer of course. It doesn't even snow in winter in our city because we are on the coast. My dog Cassie will have to have fun at the dog's beach instead. Our family dog LOVES the snow. He loves to jump around in it and he loves to have it thrown at him while my Mom is shoveling, and if my Mom does not throw it at him, he yipes. My Mom snowblows the driveway, but does not let the dog come out with her for safety purposes, so he whines inside the house. She lets him outside in the backyeard while shoveling the deck and a path for him and also throws snow at him. He just LOVES the snow!

My dog hate the snow. And I dont blame him. He is very small dog. But, it can be funny when he goes outside in the snow. He hate it so much that he dont even leave my porch. He just does what he has to do and he back in the house. And he does the high step all the way back in. Well that what I call it.
