Yes I did the last of the shopping for the Holidays this morning. Just before the blizzard hit me. But we had about 4 inches of fresh snow at the time and it was still snowing. This organ (in the attatched photo) is something the grandsons will love. This is one of the last gifts we picked up today. Got any last minute shopping to do yet or are you all finished? Would you drive in a severe snowstorm to finish the shopping with a few days left?

I would not drive in the snow but if I had any last minute shopping to do and I knew the weather would not get any better then I would get out to finish it up. I think I am finally finished. I am waiting on a couple of things to arrive via UPS. I have been wrapping gifts today and oh my back hurts from sitting in the floor. hahaha The grandsons will love that Casio for sure.

Oh no Grandpa, I just read where you said you wanted a laptop? I wish you had spoken up sooner, I don't think I could get one to you now. hahaha
I did get one for my grandson and I can't wait to see his face when he opens up the box. He has a desktop that used to belong to his parents and it is one that is used by all kids who come to their house to play with and he gets so upset because they always mess it up. So now he will have one that is his only and his cousins can keep on using the desktop.

I guess it's way different for you because you are an adult and you have grandsons and who knows who else to shop for. People are depending on you. Not me. I did all of my shopping on eBay, and I think it pretty much all came out to less than 30 bucks. I used just my Mylot earnings for that. It's easy when you're younger and don't know a lot of people, I guess!

YIKES!
This organ alone was 3 times that amount.
I would say all the gifts for the grnadkinds and our kids and what not we spent maybe $700 to $800 or so totally. Much easier when younger for sure.

Glad to say Grandpa Bob I am all finished, thankfully, although I do cheat the Christmas presents I get during the year as I hate the mad Christmas last minute rush so I am quite prepared, call it being a boy scout, I am fully prepared. Fortunately we don't have to worry about blizzards or being snowed in and we have shops within walking distances as well, I guess it's different for you my friend. It's ironic isn't it all this hard work, stress, preparation we do just for two days! It's all over so quickly too. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

We had to do it actually. Tomorrow is the casino trip, show, buffet, and gambling all day. Then the wife works all week so no choice sort of. But I am used to it and had no problems other than icy windshield often.

Yes they will love that and the parents too. I can hear all that music all the way over here where I live. I don't think I would even no how to drive in a snow storm. We don't get those here that much if we do it is mixed with ice and everything shuts down.

So how much you get today?
I got 8 to 9 inches and it's stopped snowing.
But the winds are whipping around and frigid as hell right now.

I popped out this morning and did the last few bits of shopping that I needed so I am all done now. I think that if we had really bad snow here then I would not even venture out of the door I would just send my hubby instead lol!!

Yeah it is nearly as tall as me.
I would guess it is about 4 feet long.
They'll have a blast with it I hope.

I'm beginning to realize that every time you get snow within a day or two it hits me!LOL
I went out this afternoon to pick up a few stocking stuffers and I beat the snow. It isn't starting here until tonight. First rain then ice then snow. The rain has arrived and the temps are plumetting so I'm glad I got ahead of it. I actually would not have driven in the snow for what little bit I needed. But th main reason fo tha is people aroundhere forget from year to year how to drive in it! LOL
Glad you made it home safe and I'm sure the grandsons are going to drive you insane playing the organ! LOL
Merry Christmas!

I bet everyone in your area will be kicking themselves for waiting to buy presents if they haven't yet. I mean last minute shopping is bad enough, but going in near blizzard conditions is insane. Yet who wants to disappoint their children? Or worse, what newly wed husband wants to not have something for his bride come Chistmas morning?! I imagine he'd walk through a blizzard to avoid the consequences of that.

All of my shopping is done, GrandpaBob. I wrapped the last of my gifts yesterday. I probably woudl not go out in a blizzard to shop- I don't like driving in the snow. But you must be used to it, living in Minnesota.
Oh-- I bought my kids a similar organ last year and they loved it- they still play it all the time!

I just finished wrapping the gifts for all my colleagues in the office Grandpa Bob. I have already wrapped already some gifts for my countless nephews and nieces also. However, I still have to find something special for my parents so I still have to shop for their gifts though its not for the lack of trying. I just can't find the right gift for them. I am going out again this afternoon. Good that our weather here in my country is as sunny as ever. Happy holidays to you too and to your family!

I have a few gifts for my siblings left to pick up, but I am done as far as the kids. I said I was done last week, but then I bought a few more gifts. I don't think I would go out in a severe snowstorm to pick up any gifts if I had a few days left to get them. I am glad you made it back home safe.

You know, I keep saying we're done, but we probably aren't, lol. Right now one of our boys has a couple presents more than the other kids, and we feel bad about that. So, we may end up buying something else for the other 2 older kids.
We're getting a horrible storm today too, but we've got tomorrow to shop.
I wanted to hit the mall yesterday, and the weather was allright, but the mall was too packed. Just the line to get into the mall was ridiculous, so I drove right past it instead.

Hi GRANDPA BOB,
Nice present, I hope he will love it and yes I have done all my presents shopping and they are all wraped up and under the tree, looks great but nope, I wouldn't drive in the blizards to do last minute shopping, I'd rather be tucked up indoors all nice and cosy.
