Do you think the Internet is a blessing?

For me the internet is a total blessing. I hire employees, find events to attend, locate meetings and groups. I earn 90% of my extra income on the net. I research info and find markets for my work. I email and facebook long lost friends and collegues. My life would, honestly, be much less complete with the net.

Things are a lot with the popularity of the internet. Life with most people has become a lot easier. Yes, I agree with you that the internet is a blessing to a lot of people. It has become an open door of opportunity to most of us and a window to the world. With the internet, we can talk to people economically even if they are half the world away from us. We can shop at the comfort of our own homes too. We can learn a lot of things. The people who don't know how to use the internet should be taught or else they will miss half of their lives. They won't know what we have learned using the net.;-)

You are right. Internet is the best blessing we have got. It provides huge amount of information of our interest and that will increase your knowledge like anything. Now for many people it has become a little source of earning as well. And on websites such as mylot and other forums you can interact with so many kind of people from different parts of the world and have experience about there way of living and about their culture. Internet is very interesting thing and people should make use if it in the right way.

I remember seeing the net for the first time in '95. It's come such a long way in such a short time. Sure, online shopping is convenient and online communications are useful too but the amount I've learned from it is huge. Most of that is stuff that I wouldn't have had the oppurtunity to learn otherwise, or just wouldn't have stumbled on it otherwise at least. As with anything, people will find a way to abuse it and others will find a way to use it to it's fullest potential. We won't see the best it has to offer for a long long time.

I think that the internet is a HUGE blessing. I remember when my dad brought home our first computer (many years ago) and how exciting it was when we first got on the internet! I eventually ended up getting a really great job offer the summer between my junior and senior year of high school, and in order to keep it I was going to have to home school my senior year. The high school I attended my senior year was an internet school! I of course loved that, and to be honest, the work was a lot more challenging when you had the entire world wide web as your research database, vs. just the measly text books I had been used to. Now, I consider myself super internet savvy. I'm a huge online shopper, blogger, Facebook and Myspace user. When I finished college a few years ago, all of my friends and myself ended up settling all over the world, literally. But thanks to this great technology, we have all been able to stay in touch and keep up with whats going on with each other so easily!

pshh. In the early 2000s company computers getting hacked and companies hiring hackers to steal data from other companies computers. that was some hard times but now its safer and the internet is pretty useful, there are problems with destructive programs and harmful viruses but the grass is still green.

I fully agree with you friend. Internet is the best,most enriched & the easiest to reach data bank. You can get your piece of information anywhere,anytime if you are connected with internet. It is most valued for communication. Voice & video chat has made it even more useful.Even in official & medical sector its getting more handy day by day.I think its getting on an essential tool for everybody's life.

I'm not sure, it has sooooo many benefits and can really benefit everyone I believe. It all depends on how much you know about the Internet and how much you understand how the Internet can help you in your life. I would say it is a blessing but it has bad points too. Also people tend to spend large amounts of time on the Internet instead of doing other stuff, so this would be a bad reason. Overall, the Internet is good but not perfect.
