Homepage friends

Well I am not please with Homepage Friends as just this morning I tried a search and was told that they no longer serve Canada. No warning on their site or even a email. I had to do a search to find out. So my opinion is that they are a scam and looking for ways to keep the money they own to others so they can perhaps pay a few.

I joined this site when it was under the previous owner where it was called my search funds. I got paid once and that was the last payment before the site was taken over by this new company/person/people and then the name changed to homepages friends. Things started to look more organized and I thought that this could be nothing but better for all the members as with the new look, our total earnings are now calculated with the earnings made from our referrals. The original site failed to include the referral earnings when they paid the members. At the same time, the new site has also included information such as when and how much the money is due to the members but sadly, those are the only things that they are doing and as far as I know, no members have been paid since the time they took over. They claimed that they had paid all the members who are in UK and using the bank account options and so far I have not heard of anyone who got paid via that. They also mentioned that those who are on PayPal would be paid later and that was the last thing they said before making the disappearance act. Based on my account, they already owe me GBP60.02. Nevertheless, I am not really putting any hope on getting payment from them and hope that their Christmas would be as bad as the feelings of those people that they have crossed. i have already hit the minimum in october last year.. and i'm still waiting for them to pay me. It's already january. according to the previous response that someone waited 140 days... well.. that leaves me one more month to wait. I really do hope they pay me.. there's quite alot of money at stake for me... haha.. 25pounds to date..

Still waiting for the payout I am expecting this month... I kinda doubt I'll be paid

Really I have been using it for three days and got 1.33 euros. This is interesting but I think they take a considerable amount of days to get payed. I really hope that it pays.

hello Orrangge yeah same here...there were 20 searches but they show 0 pounds to me as well. been for days like this..and i stopped to search now.see what will happen when i start to joinning this site,it was paid 0.07 pounds for one search. now seens doing more work but got less.just having an idea if this site turns to a scam or now. I heard some people said they got paid from homepage friends long time ago.but do not know if that is turth or not. i tried to make 50 searches a day,they will not add up my searchs,i met this happen many times time...really not happy about. those days i can see my search earnings,just too bad,it seems a scam to me now... i stopped and see what will happen next week... hope everything goes well. cheers

I am a member of myhpf for couple of months now. I haven't reached the payout yet but i was half the minimum at the first month i joined them. I was motivated to used it since i have heard others have paid from it but i was discouraged after my 10 pounds reduced to 2 pounds. I wrote the admin and based on the email it said they deleted the searches that is not counted. That i understand the rule. Now i'm using it again and i'm hoping to reach the payout in the next following month. Now what i learned is that they only count a search that is really a search not the website itself because if you type the website itself then whats the need to search when you already know the site so it means the only counted search is like when you search for a keyword like when your looking for a certain site that you don't know about. Apart from they really filter searches like those who really intend to search just to earn, their site pays only when you search the normal search you do everyday. So if you intend to search just to increased your earnings a day then just don't be surprised if your earnings will reduced. Hope this helps. I have felt really uncomfortable about homepage friends since they started. For that reason even though I am signed up I haven't really bothered to do that many searches with them. Part of the reason was that it took them so long to get the site operational. I don't know if anyone has gotten paid by them. I hope that some people have rather than just searching using a little known site in the hopes of earning some money.

I also using homepage friends but I'm not much into using web searches these days and my earning there didn't even move I think its stack to .40pounds I think they are a very slow way of earnings..

I am using homepage friends since february and my balance was 16 pounds. But during the last month my page where i search does not open at all. I have even waited for an hour but its of no use. I think there is something wrong with this website. I never use to hear negatively for this website. But now i think it stopped paying its users.

Some people got paid for it but it's been very slow for me. I only have like 3 pound and I find the searches to be quite subjective. Some searches tend to reward you more while others earn you close to nothing.

ohh this is a nice discussion... for I have just joined homepage friends, my sister had just told me about it and since i always do researches of my kids' projects, she told me about it, and my sister is also new to this homepage so we really don't know about how it works...

i think there is something wrong with that site now. i have joined that site about two weeks back and in first few days i was getting paid. i st week 20 searches 0.12 cash. it was going smooth. but know 40 searches 0.12 cash. they have to be kidding me. i don't know if that site got flop.

No, as a matter of fact, I have come to know this as a site for the first time. So, its a new one for me. I hope someone got paid for that.
