I just suffered a minor burn in my hand few days back while I was at a shop. The shopkeeper had some kind of sugarcane machine outside his shop which I didnt knew was hot due to some reasons... I touched it and instantly I could feel the pain.. I withdrew my hand immedidately but still there has been a small dark mark on my forearms.
Have u ever experienced any burn marks as yet?

I have several burn scars on my arms and hands from working in kitchens. I also have a scar on the back of my knee from backing into a hot grill as a child. I think the worst burn I actually got was while I was pregnant with my daughter. I got startled while emptying a pan of scalding hot water and ended up spilling it right on my pregnant belly!! That one hurt.

Yes I do. I used Aloe Vera gel to treat burn marks and it really works for me. After one week applied onto each burn mark spot, the burn mark vanish naturally. Another product avails in the market is sea-cucumber byproduct, also very effective for any skin problem.

The worst burn i ever got was when i was about 16 i was on the back of my boyfriends motorbike and when i jumped off i caught my leg on the exhaust pipe which was still very hot. It was not very nice and took a long time to heal but after that i was more careful when i was on his motorbike. I have also burnt myself on the oven a few times when i have been getting stuff out of it due to being distracted.

I have a light scar on the back of my hand where I got burned by grease. I also have another on my hand from the oven. I'm dangerous in the kitchen I guess. lol I was taking bacon out of the oven and I raised my hand too much and I burned it on the oven heat coils. I also got the other burn that same time because when I jerked back in pain, I sloshed grease out of the pan.

I had my share of burns but luckily none of them were major burns. All of which were minor and in just a few days the burn marks were gone. The best treatment or first aid for minor burns assuming that there is no opening would be using cold water. But if burns have opening like 2nd degree burn or third degree burn would be to prevent infection. So it is very important to cover them and seek medical treatment. Best to you!

I've had some bad burns. Twice in my lifetime, I have been pouring scalding hot water in my cup for instant coffee and had my pet dog bump me. Both times, the scalding water doused my entire left arm and it was burned from my fingertips to my elbow. Once was when I was about 23 and the other time when I was about 31. Thankfully, I got to the hospital quickly and was treated with Silvadene. Even though I had 2nd and 3rd degree burnes, I don't have any scars.

I guess I've had a couple of burns in the most uncomfortable of places, the inside of my mouth, where the right cheek is! I guess when I'm eating I don't take the time to blow on my food and cool it down, I just shove it in the hole and I'm forever going oohhh, aahhhh until I end up swallowing! A couple of days later I notice this little lump inside and it feels as though there's a bit of food stuck on the inside of my cheek! I guess when you get a burn on your skin somewhere, I'm referring to external burns as opposed to burns in your mouth then you constantly pour cold water over the burn then it at least feels comfortable and takes the sting away! When I was a stupid teenager I liked to wear torn blue jeans. They had to have holes in the knees. I once burned the strings on my jeans and caught my knee on fire. I still have a huge scar nearly 18 years later.

Nothing serious just catch my arm on the oven sometimes. When I worked as a cook I did burn myself quite often,I really noticed it more when we had new oven installed.I used to work without thinking and knew how much room I had by instinct.I had to relearn it all again when the new oven went in.got over it and could judge without looking.Spacial awareness they call it I think.

Well, as I can recall I only remember when I was little I cut partial skin of my left thumb because I want to open a high heel shaped plastic container-- it's full of shiny things in it, so I used a knife to open and cut my thumb. I know it sounds silly. I still can remember it because a scar is still on my left thumb. So everytime I see it I can remember that one small accident caused by myself..

I do not have any permanent scars. but the worst burn that I ever got was when I was taking hot cereal out of the microwave and it spilled over on my bare foot. On man, that hurt something awful. It turned into a big yucky button. I was afraid to bother it, until my nursing teacher told me to pop it. When I did, it burned a little, but then was able to heal.

a few years back i was try to fry a fish over the pan, accidentally the oil spilled out of the pan and straight to my left leg. i got a very large burn on my legs that it took me around 1 month for it to fully heal. i was afraid of having mark on my legs for the rest of my life good enough that the makes healed well and no scar marks left on my leg not a trace of it. from them on i become careful everytime i fry something over the pan.

You know, I've gotten many burns through out my life. Now, I know getting a burn on your tongue shouldn't really count but I hate that. Anyway, burns are definitely annoying. I get them randomly by not doing much.
