I am a christiam, but I m not religious at all. I think that good and evil are available in any religion and the most important is to respect the natural laws.

Hi egypt, I am confused by your comment. How can you be a Christian and not be religious?? Unless, you are pretending to be a Christian to fit in with your friends and family because they are. What goes on here?

I am Catholic. People believes in God, not just "religion". Its a series of spiritual rules wich guide ourselves, a full creed system, a group of mysteries in wich one believes. Its a serious matter. I see many people who sees this thing as secondary. This should be the primary thing in life, I mean, God first, in the good sense. I say this because there are good religions, and others which may be problematic.

Hi, I'm a catholic, but not very fond of religion in general. I go to church quite rarely. But I sometimes find myself in difficult situations and say "help me, God" in my head... and that brings a little comfort. At least more than it would, if I hadn't said it. Therefore, I think people believe in religion because it's good to think there is something above all things, that can help in case of distress or that watches over and takes care that the balance is straightened, at times. It helps the lonely, the scared or the sad people. The religious feeling is like, say, an immaginary friend. I never had one, as a kid, but I know most kids do. So, if you think there are some things you cannot express in public, due to whatever reasons, you put them into religion. It's quite simple, actually.

i am a muslim (that is the name for people with islam as his/her religion), and i do believe in my religion because there's too many things that cannot explained by science, explained by my holy book, Qur'an. And for me religion is the way of life, to guide me to follow the right path. i know many people rely on science or logic in his/her life, but too many things can't be explained by logic and science. even to determine which one is the first, hen or egg? i think logic cannot answer that. and because of that, at some certain point we should put our faith on something other than logic or science. and that's what religion for. anyway, that's only how i feel and see towards life. and anyone has their opinion, hope that would be the best for everybody.

For me, I am a free-thinker. I do not have a religion at all but I do believe that there is a God. I believe that all religion teaches us good things and to walk on the right path. So, I prefer to stay without any religion and believe in myself.

Dear Friend I'm of Hindu religion and abt the question that what religion brings to us is really haed to be answered. But As per I know religion is something that binds a persn in certain rule of its own kind (i.e. of certain community). It taches us various cultural behaviuors and habits. It teaches us what is right and wrong. All religion teaches us same thing but in different manners. I think. Happy mylotting

I also believe very much in Science. I also believe in Language that Science has, I might say, nothing to say. I believe in music and beauty that Scientific reductionism can never ever do justice because they lie outside of the scope of Science. I also believe in morality which again Science has nothing to say. So I believe in Science, but I believe more than Science. I believe in God which Science cannot say much because Science just explores the nature, not the nature's creator. I think it's very much possible for Science and religion to go together.

I'm pagan, and we believe that if you're meant to be one, you'll eventually find your way home :) Since we pagans can't agree on which gods or goddesses to follow and even what to believe in, we just agreed to disagreed and find our own spiritual path. The reasons why I became a pagan is kinda complicated, but long story short, you couldn't really disagree with a goddess and comes up to you and sit on your lap can you LOL! May that which you hold divine, be with you always.

I am a christian and in every religion there are some good and evil forces. In fact almost all religions are based on certain events so they are similar in a way. Some stories do seem true it's just that they change the name. But I like to think that I was not here by chance of a molecular evolution but that I was meant to be here and carefully planned. I guess for some it gives a sense of hope and purpose.

hello there babyorchid! I respect your belief. I'm a Catholic but i also have my doubts. But i do believe or should i say have some good faith that there is someone out there that's almighty. You know, not everything is science. What's important is to live life to the fullest and not waste it. Do things that can be good to the society and to yourself. Religion doesn't matter. As long as we have one good faith in common. :)
