Burning eyes

When the last Harry Potter book came out I couldn't wait for them to translate it in Serbian so I stayed in line for a whole day just to buy the English version. I started reading it around 19:00 and finished it the next day around the same time! I didn't sleep at all, lucky there was no school. I sometimes tend to stay up really late because of a book, and my eyes hurt a lot, they hurt so much that they "burn". I don't wear or need glasses though, but in a few years that will probably happen.

Wow you didn't even want to sleep? really? That's forbidden do you have glasses already? that's not good, actually, burning eyes is different from me i burn my eyes in the net and in the book that is why i have glasses now, I enjoyed a book like Harry Potter but i still go for sleep because that is the most important rest! That's a common occurrence for me. I love to read, and I have the bad habit that if I get engrossed with a book, I tend to continue reading until the wee hours of the morning. I have bad eyes. I wear contacts during daytime, and take it off at night. My eyes when tired gets teary-eyed. Still, if the book is good, I will keep on reading even with my eyes burning and tears streaming down my cheeks..LOL..I know I should break that bad habit, but there are just too many good books to read.

yeah mate happens with me too normally tht happens whn u dont blink ur eyes tht often or u have dry eyes normally whn u r concentratin on somethei too ahrd u forget to blink so try blinkin n washin it once in a while happy lotting and have a nice day!

I have done this a few times. This is why I try to start a new book in the day time. That way, if I really like it, I will be finished well before it is time for me to sleep. No more lost sleep lol. In all seriousness, I think that sometimes a book is just too intriguing, or too well written to put it down.
