What does santa do the rest of the year if he only works one night a year ?

Toys to make. New elves to interview. Reindeer to look after. The Easter Bunny to help out (she lives next door. Mrs Claus thinks that she's a flighty piece). Then there's the sleigh to maintain and snow to shovel. Also, there was that one occasion when he nearly landed in jail (see Miracle on 34th Street). There's a LOT for Santa to do.

He occasionally gives the Tooth Fairy a lift places, but as he has to fly with his lights out in case he is recognised they occasionally end up at the wrong house! Cupid used to be a regular visitor, but since the Easter Bunny moved in, Mrs Claus has given him his marching orders. Mrs C is a large woman, she says that Santa gets enough love from her, she needs no helpers, unlike Santa of course!

He is helping his elves get everything ready for the next Christmas. There's way too much to be done besides just delivering them one day a year. LOL

Honestly hun I'm not really sure! My guess would be that he spies on all of the kids every year to see if they have been naughty or nice. He has to make that list somehow! Then in his spare time he probably runs the workshop, keeps the elves in line, shovels the snow, takes care of the reindeer, and eats Mrs.Clause's food to stay plump and jolly!

I think he comes and see whether you are using its gifts or not.
Just kidding.
There was a movie, I can't recall the name, made on Santa and there was a person who acted like santa on Christmas. He was hired by a company who used to give gifts to the children.
What was he doing other days???
He was a thief!!!

Maybe Santa is sleeping the after Christmas season and wakes up before Christmas season to prepare gifts!
He is sleeping after Christmas season in preparation for his gift giving activities through out the season ( remember he needs to send gifts to all the kids all over the world! LOL ).
