Have you ever been fired??

I lost a job because I was used as a pawn in a corporate disagreement. After everything was settled they tried to call me back but I'd already found another job.

Twice (sort of). In one case, the company was restructuring and didn't have enough money to pay their writers anymore. In the other case, the project ran out of money and stopped paying everybody. However, as far as being fired for doing something wrong, that's never happened to me.

I was fired once for no call no show. They didn't want to give me time of when my mom was visiting so i just never went to work. They called me and told me if i still want my job i better be there the next day but mom was more important. I went and got another job. That was like 6 years ago and it's not that easy anymore to get a new job.

Yes, I got fired for ending up in the hospital with a severe migraine. The guy I was working for couldn't understand how a person could end up in the hospital suffering from a migraine. I even brought the jerk a letter from the hospital and a note from my doctor. He handed me my last paycheck told me he didn't want me working for him.
