Do you have your own office at work or do you sit in a cubicle?

I just can't imagine myself being in a cubicle. I see some on tv all the time and they don't look very comforting at all. I prefer an office with a door. I don't currently work because I just had my baby. But, on my last job, which was sales rep, I enjoyed it some. It was a nice environment and some what comfortable. It wasn't in the office, though. Someday when I get done with school, I won't mind having an office for myself.

I work from home, so my office is whatever I make it. I love working in whatever I want, wherever I want. In a few years, when I retire my husband, I'm just going to have a cell phone and a laptop on me and travel the world

My desk is in the open too, but there are some soft separations amongst groups of 2 or 3 desks. I'm quite comfortable with this configuration because I am a developer and often we talk and work together: if there were walls and we had to get up and go to another office we would talk a lot less. I don't like complete open space because there's much more noise and tendency to make conversations at
a longer distance, disturbing others, while with separations people tend to talk only inside the section and not between sections.

I work in a residential group which is like a regular home you and I live in. They turned one of the rooms into an office so you u kinda say I have my own desk when im on shift when i am there. I'm not always in there its quiet,Im always in the other part of the home with the clients.

My entire home is my cubicle and my bosses are 3 and 4 feet tall. LOL. I am very comfortable at my job because I don't have to get dressed, i can lounge around in my jammies all day. But when they start barking orders to get them food or put on this movie or wipe a poopy rear... it does get pretty demanding and I do just want to walk away! But the benefits and income are great! I get paid in kisses and my benefits include hugs. The daily special bonuses are hearing the words "I love you mommy"

I have a cubicle, but I have my own window. Its not bad considering i came here from a crappy job. I hope to get an office sometime though the cubicle is fine for now.

My work environment includes, 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, livingroom, familyroom, 2 bathrooms (which during the day I have all to myself - no having to wait in a line LOL), a laundry room, and a diningroom LOL. In other words, my entire house. I am a stay at home wife/mother/homemaker. So I have a really really big office hehehe. I love being at home and taking care of my family and house and the dog.

Ha. I work at home, and my kids don't allow me an office. Then I might close a door and they couldn't see me anymore.

i have my own office, it's quite spacious. I love my office as it's overlooking the sea, great for relieving stress! i have L shape desk and it's always in a mess, with docs, files, paperworks all around.

I share an office with a couple of other people, so the atmosphere is just fine.
I much prefer the location that I am in to the open planned environments that seem to be so popular. I only wish that the computer I use at work did not seem as though the local museum would gladly buy it.

I work in a cubicle. I don't mind it though because I have a huge window. Most of the offices in our building only have windows that face other offices. My window faces outside, so even though I may not get to hang out in the sun all day, at least I get to see it.
