Its quite difficult to do. you need a pretty exstablished list of friends and family who would be interested in buying from you. If you are still interested, you should start getting involved in fund raisers and social gatherings as a way to meet new people and start building your friend and contact list. you can also look at "Pampered Chef". they also offer an affiliate program the pay is good. the only problem is finding potential clientel. You may have to run adds, hand out business cards and just get your name out there if you want to be successful. I'm working on trading referrals with people so if you have any programs that you are doing now let me know and maybe we can swap referrals for different programs. Hope my suggestions help. the only hard part on would be finding people who would give you the time of day. I used to work as an Afiliate for Cutco as an Independant Affiliate. All i got from the company was training on how to present the product to potential customers. I was paid for every demonstration and I also recieved comission on any sales, the problem for me was finding opportunities for demonstrations.I was pretty much on my own for that. I had to do some traveling as well and at the time, i had no car so it was pretty difficult to get around to different demonstrations.
