Is your house clean?

A combination of illness and lack of energy brought on by depression have kept me from getting the house done the way I want it for several months. One promise I've made myself is to spend at least one hour when I get home from work taking care of teh cleaning and the clutter. I'll bet it won't be all that long before it's the house I love again.

While I don't have kids at home anymore, my house is still a mess after the Christmas. I am trying to get it clean again, but just don't seem to have the energy. I will be putting up the decorations tomorrow, at least that will be something done. My kitchen is a wreck though, lol. I hate mopping and I have to re-mop. The one place that stayed clean was the bathroom. Good luck with your cleaning and know that you are not alone.

I am getting there...I have spent most of the morning working on putting things away...tearing down beds and doing laundry. So far I am way ahead of schedule. They just left this morning.....one problem is I have a bunch of garbage that will take a while to get rid of as I have a small garbage container! LOL

yes, it is but i live alone so after everybody left christmas i pretty well have it in order. don't get me wrong there are things i could be doing but don't know that i'm going to do them today. lol

LOL like u mean whn i am home alone or whn there are siblings here too normally im really strict on keepin the house clean but whn im home alone i just clean hte rooms n then close the rooms so tht idont have to clean them days later r they opened :p happy lotting and have a nice day!

Well, I live with my boyfriend and his parents. The kitchen and living room and hallway are clean. The bedrooms and computer rooms are piled up with stuff. We can't even walk in his bedroom because of my clothes and that's because we need a closet or something to put them in. I moved in and there was just not adequate closet space for my stuff plus his. We are slowly finding solutions..... I have one small zip up storage closet and it has most of my dress clothes in it. I need to find a place for the rest of my dress clothes. and I need to put my other clothes somewhere. I need to go through and try everything on and get rid of what don't fit me anymore.
