ive never actually seen mr bean. I have no idea who he is lol. So I guess to answer your question would be the simpsons since it is one of my favorite shows of all time even though if they overdue the humor which they do now and thats why it isnt as good as the earlier seasons.

Ok, someone on here called Simpsons a kid show. It is childish, but the jokes are adult material in my opinion. I would be weary about letting young children seeing it.
Onto my opinion:
The Simpsons can be a lot funnier, and there is a lot more episodes with more variety. They have really done a spoof of about everything. Personally, Homer can act a lot like Mr. Bean. For content, I'd say Simpsons, however reluctantly. Bean was more original, to be fair.

I have always found Mr bean to be rather silly, I just don't think he is funny at all, The Simpsons is very funny at times but I think they tend to over step the mark a bit as far as being a kids show unl;ess of course maybe some of the things they touch on go over kids heads I am not sure..

I would choose the Simpsons every time. I watched Mr. Bean when it first came to the UK many years ago and came to the opinion that whilst the early episodes were very funny, his later ones were just more of the same and the jokes became rather stale. But I guess everybody has a different sense of humour. :-) Derek

The Simpsons. What I like about the Simpsons is that besides the humor and Homer Simpsons hilarious lamebrained antics. There is a good amount of social commentary. It's really a cartoon for adults not kids although children can appreciate it too. My least favorite character is Marge though. She is so boring and lame. But she's written to be that way. My favorite is Lisa. I can identify with her the most. I feel for that eight year old genius stuck in a houseful of morons. lol Marge is always foisting her outdated ideas of a woman's role on her as well. The Simpsons is one of my favorite shows.
Rowan Atkinson who plays Mr Bean is funny too. But its all slapstick and that gets old really fast. I used to like him as a kid. He was great in Black Adder though which was a British show set in medeival times. Very funny!

Although both of them are entertaining but Mr. Bean is my favorite. He has some special gesture. I start laughing even looking at his face!

I do not watch either one of them. I have seen The Simpsons in the past and the show did not really appeal to me because of the content and for Mr. Bean I never even saw one of his shows.
