Does It Bother You When People Stare At You?

Ya for everyone , this is a problem . The remedy is "You start Staring at him/her " and everything will be fine.

yes it bother me when they stare i start looking down at myself and see why they starring.guys alway come on to me, if i tell them iam married they say so.i think to myself so does marriage mean anything these days.if you going to stare at least speak.some will not even speak.i tell them iam married because i don,t want them to bother me about going out.

You shouldn't let it bother you so much. It could get you in legal trouble if you got angry enough to use physical force. Your mother is right because people are people and they are always going to be themselves whether or not they are kind people or people with no regard to the feelings of others. I am overweight so I could easily believe people are making mental notes about my weight when they look at me for long periods of time. Then again I can also think that in some way that they are admiring me. Or I could choose just not to care either way.

May be no harm in it but it is annoying the person being looked at may feel uncomfortable. Some of the situation that may cause others too look at:- - Beautiful lady or a very handsome man. This the look of appreciation. - A person wit some visible and strange physical defect like too short or tall and similar. This the look of curiosity. - A person doing something annoying activities for others like talking or laughing too loudly, talking loudly or continuously on mobile. playing music loudly, smoking in non-smoking zone and similar other activities that causes discomfort for others. This is a look to signal that the person is doing something not welcomed. May be you can see wrinkle between eyes for this types of look.

I agree with you. I dont like it when people stare either. Not only is it annoying to me, but very rude on their part. You know what you could do? Stare back and freak em out. Then theyll stop lol. I think the reason I dont like it is the same as you, that I too feel people are judging me. People judge in general, but when they stare, theyre not only being ignorant, but being very rude. Another thing I hate is when people dont give you your personal space. I have a friend who, when Im on the computer, he stands right over me. I got so mad at him one time, told him to back off, he didnt, so I shoved him lol. I shouldnt have done that, but he shouldve backed off too. I hate it when people are that close to you, on top of you like that.

It used to bother me and it still does sometimes. But i realized that the more i pay attention to them, theworst my day becomes. So in the end I lose. So i just ignore them.

I hate it when people stare at me, I guess I have a very low self esteem because I always think they are staring at me because I am not good looking and they think I am a freak of sort sort and it makes me annoyed, I give people dirty looks if they stare at me because I know they are not staring at me with good intentions. I am like you, very self-conscious and yes people really do judge you, what right do they have to judge you? Yes, of course at times it bothers me when people stare. But I am also aware of how curious people can be. So, I tend to smile at people who stare and wave like I knwo them. That tends to get them to look away. You should try it and watch how people react.

I don`t really care are people staring at me but I have one friend and she feels really weird when people stare at her.I often just stay and look at her for like 1 minute and she starts laughing really loud.At the begining she was mad at me for doing this but not it`s like our secret game.How lone can I stare at her and how long she`ll stay serious.

I wonder what they are looking at, and what is on their minds that they have to stare. Actually, Christmas eve I was riding in the back seat of my sister's car, my nephew was sitting next to me. I happened to look to my right out of the window, and he was just sitting there staring at me. I didn't say anything, maybe five minutes later I looked towards that window again, and again, he was sitting there staring at me. I just yelled, WHY ARE YOU STARING AT ME. He did not say anything, I then told him it is rude to just stare at someone without saying something, if you have something to say, say it, don't just sit and stare.

Yes, it does bother me especially when I am not in a good mood. It makes me thing that something is wrong with my face or how I look. I think being stared at is very irritating and as you have said, makes you uncomfortable.

It drives me CRAZY when some one stares at me. My mother always told me to give the person something to look at, which I do not do. I will stare back at them until they look away. I feel that has a much more effective message. When they look away, I think it makes them realize how uncomfortable of a feeling it is to have someone staring at them. I have never lost my temper over some one staring at me. But I have asked people why they are looking at me, or if I spilled something on me or something along those lines. This makes it known to the other person that you have notices their annoying, rude stares and a lot of times the person will then stop staring at you.

Yes it does and when people stare for too long i tend to get upset and ask them what are they looking at but no that nice

Yes,it does bother me. When people look at me, I always try to go far away from them. I'm thinking why they are looking at me. I thought there was a problem with my face but no.

Sometimes it does bother me and sometimes it doesn't. When I'm feeling like being annoying I'll stare right back at the person without blinking or smiling just to creep them out. Usually they get embarrased and turn their head rather quickly. Sometimes I just get annoyed that they have nothing better to do than stare at people all day so that's what bothers me about it most.

I think that I have blown up before but then that's only because I was already upset. I haven't blown up like that in a while though. I also twitch my lip, not meaning to but I do when someone's staring at me. I guess that's a good honing device huh?

It doesn't really bother me when people stare at me but I think it does when I do it... There were many times when I notice somebody staring & I just happened to stare back at them... I don't do it intentionally but I can't help but to find people who stare at me interesting... So I tend to stare back at them... Usually, they turn away first...
