My oldest is 15(today lol), and actually she's not that bad (fortunately for both of us). Once a month(yes that special hormonal time) she'll get a bit mouthy, and her attitude will peek out. Then I just snap at her, she pouts & hides in her room for a day or two, and that's it.
Once, a about a year ago, she got really really bad with her mouth & attitude. Now, I want to point out I didn't hurt her, it was all shock effect lol. I really wasn't angry, just tired of the treatment she was giving out to all of us. I actually had to walk into the other room afterwards because I was ready to bust out laughing. My fiancee came in and asked if it was safe lol. I said I'm not mad:) She was standing by the wall giving me the head shake, eye rolling, mouthy bit behind my back, I pushed her back to the wall, held her chin in my hand(not hard mind you) and just yelled in her face-who do you think you're talking to, that kind of stuff. Her eyes got as big as saucers, her mouth dropped, the dogs scattered to the farthest room in the house away from me lol. And it worked, few minutes later she was sweet as pie. No problems like that ever since. Sometimes, they need to be reminded that they're still the kids. Wish you luck!!

Thanks and good luck to you too! It sounds like I need more luck than you though! Hahaha!
