You'll probably spend some time this weekend thinking about the good things in your life and your loved ones. Before you do that, take a moment to just consider how lucky you are to be here in the first place. In the 21st century, we can experience more in a month than most people throughout history did in a lifetime. Instead of appreciating that fact, we usually just end up wanting to do and have more. We look at what's wrong rather than what's right. This is a perfect time to take a look at your life and priorities again. Can you make some extra time every day to just enjoy the moment and your loved ones? You've been given the gift of a lifetime of moments. Accept the gift and prove yourself worthy.

Hi Msegde, Woow I have never looked at it like that before but yes people can travel in a day nowon a journeyu that would take months to make a century before and yes we do not appreciate what we do have now. I certainly have had so many experiences this year both good and bad that for the next one I will certainly be living for the moment as life is too short so I'll take the pleasure not the pain. A Happy New Year to You. Huggles. Ellie :D

I do this almost daily. With hubby having cancer, I am aware now more than ever about all the blessings I have been given. Every day is a gift. You are right we look for more and more to fill up our lives, when we already have all we really need. We don't need more stuff...we just need to take stock of the wonderful gifts we already have in our lives. Love is at the top of my list.
