Do you write with your right or left hand? I'm a righty, but I've tried to make myself ambidextrous when I was younger by practicing to write with my left hand. It was hard and never worked out for me. My handwriting was always horrible with my left hand haha.

I write with my left hand, though I didn't always prefer it. My mom told me that when I was little I actually preferred to use my right hand. But after I recovered from being deathly sick and in a coma I switched and preferred to use my left hand. I've been using it ever since.

i'm a rightie...
when i was younger, i used to pick up my pen with my left. But my mother kept changing it because she finds that being a rightie is more convenient.. somehow.. don't ask me why she thinks it that way..

Don't try to write with your left hand or else your brain will get muddled up. The left part of teh brain works for right handers and the right part of the brin works for left handers. if you try to write with both, brain can get muddled up. never try to make a left handed chidl change over to right hand too.

I am a right handed, I write with my right hand since I was young. Actually most of the things I like to do with my right hand, like holding chopsticks, using scissors, playing badminton, etc. I tried to practice writing using my left hand before, it was funny.

when i was in nursery, i started to write with my left hand but that time it was "abnormal" for most people because it's rare to be seen writing with your left hand. So my parents and tutor taught me how to write with my right hand. to this day i write with my right hand but for most things i do with my left hand. I've also noticed that i have more strength with my left than my right. But i can write with both hands:)

Hello vanonas. I write with my right hand as I was trained to write with my right hand when I started my school. I once tried to write with my left hand, but the handwriting was terrible.

I right with my right. I tried to use left hand before also but its hard. My sister is the only left handed person in the family. My fiance though is right handed but he cut his wrist open in an accident when he was young and he had to learn to right with his left hand. So i think he can go back and forth.

I am a Lefty! And sense this world is made for Righties, I find myself frequently getting frustrated. For instance, computer mice, unless you get a basic " non ergonomic" Mouse, you cannot use it with either hand. I have said for many many years that I want to invent a left handed keyboard. I hate that the numeric keypad is on the right hand side of the keyboard (I know I could get a separate keypad and plug it in separatly.), I would like to be able to buy a keyboard that has the key pad on the left hand side. Another, of my personal pet peeves is finding left handed scissors. They are few and far between, and many of those that I am able to find, are in smaller sizes, so I use teeny tiny pairs of scissors.
Interestingly, as a side note to your posting my sister in law is able to write in cursive writing, backwards! What I mean, is that she is able to write in handwritten script, such that to read it correctly, you would have to stand in front of a mirror. I think, she has a rather unique talent, that is a great party trick!
Happy Mylotting and all the best for the new year!

hello vanonas,
i write with my right hand. and i do use my right hand more often than using the left hand. well, i can also write using my left and its readable, but then writing with my left hand is so slow, it could take me so long to write a few words!
cheers! =)
