dECEMBER 31, 2008....

Well, last night until now, I stayed awake. Not primarily because of the celebration but because I was at work. I work in a call center so we primarily support other time zones. Good day! Happy NEw Year!

I stay up until after midnight to watch D*ick Clark's Rockin New Year.

not all night coz 1st January is not a holiday at office. We usually stay awake till 12 and watch the programmes on TV. Then at the stroke of midnight, we usually rush to our terrace to watch the fireworks. There’s also a cathedral whose bells start tolling and a port too where the ships blow their horns to usher in the new year. It’s a lovely feeling. Though we cant really call up anyone as the lines are very jammed.

usually, I stay awake until 3am or 4am. But I don't know about that tonight. Probably I'll sleep earlier because I have to work tomorrow at 7am.

Sometimes we are awake and sometimes we are not. This morning, we watched New Zealand ring in the New Year. I think they are probably about 18 hours ahead of America. They had some beautiful fire works.

31st December 2008, which is today for me in Malaysia.Shopping center will stays open until 12.00 am countdown with all the discounts and bargains.Some of us here will stay up all night for fireworks and concerts.

I do not stay awake the whole night as I am working and have to come to office on the 1st of January. So usually I stay awake till about 1 or 2 am.

That is not late for me at all, I am usually awake anyhow. But we are going out, so who knows how late we will be up.

I only do that during Chinese New Year because it's more significant for me due to some religious beliefs. For New Year, there's not much difference since my family members stay with me. I'll just wish my friends a very happy new year before 12 since the phone network will be very congested around that time.

yeah i always have stayed up full night on DEc31st.. actually i think its a very special day and i stay up with my family to enter the new year with them... its feels kind of special... i usually stay at home itself unlike my friends who go off to discoes and pubs
