I really do not like to fly. I have flown about three times so far. I always get anxious and feel sick to my stomache while I'm on the plane. Amazingly I've only ever gotten sick one time on an airplane. It just so happened to be my honeymoon too. It was pretty embarassing. I had to get up and go change out of my clothes in the tiny bathroom on the plane. I was so upset that I forgot to lock the door to the bathroom and some man opened the door and saw me standing there in my underwear. From that point on I will always take a motion sickness pill along with an anxiety pill when I fly. Have you ever gotten sick on a plane?

I have gotten sick 1 time, I think I was like 8. We were flying to Japan to see family. I have flown many times in my life and still I hate to fly. I do have a fear of getting sick. I don't know what you would call that. But yeah, I can't stand it and I will force myself to not get sick. My mom told me that I shouldn't do it, but I can't help it. It's too gross. Although when I was pregnant, I was sick for 6 months. I couldn't help that though. Anyway, I haven't tried any motion sickness pills. I just might consider that next time I fly. : )

Hello Shar. I have been in a plane back to my hometown for three times. The first time was a direct flight while the second was not a direct one, because I had to stop in Guangzhou for another flight. So it is altogether three times that I have been in a plane. I am glad that I was not flight sick at all. Instead I like it as it is so fast and convenient though much more expensive than taking a train home. Before taking a flight, I was so worried that I might get flight sick as I had no experience before.
Here is one of the photos that I took at the Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport on January 26th, 2008, when I was waiting for my flight. The background you see is a cloudy day, very cloudy and it was getting very dark though it was only after nine in the morning because it started to snow that morning. I was very lucky to take the flight that very day because many of the flights could not fly because of the terrible snowy weather. If I were to leave the next day, I would be unable to leave because of the heavy snow the next day.
I was lucky and I hope that I will be as lucky as I used to this year when going back to my faraway hometown for our traditional Spring Festival in middle January.
Happy New Year to you, my dear new friend, Shar.

I enjoy flying!!
But the only time i didn't feel well was probably due to claustrophobia. my dad decided for one year to take the budget plane & so we flew via Tiger Airways to Bangkok.
The seats were so crammed up & there was no food nor entertainment. I had a hard time trying to get comfy in my seat and the person in front kept shaking his chair (*screams INCONSIDERATE*). Thank GOd the flight was a short one. but i couldn't enjoy my trip at bangkok. I was somehow down right after that flight. i was stuck in my hotel room throwing up both ways.
but on other trips where we took the normal flights, i enjoyed myself throughly!

When I travel I frequently find myself having a fever after a plane ride.
It's probably caused by stress, compressed air or something.
And also when I'm in a plane my ears always hurt.
That's probably one of the reasons why I get sick after I get off.
