Are/did you prepare it, or eat at someone else's house? What did you have ? how'd it turn out? where you too drunk to remember it ? We are having a seafood themed meal and i cannot wait. Lobster (whom are crawling around on the inside of the kitchen sink at the moment clicking away disgustingly) and scallops wrapped in bacon, and breaded shrimps. mm along with that we are having potato salad and there are a LOT of junk foods ready to be consumed. and wine. and vodka. lol. please share and make me hungry while i'm reading.

Ohhh you've never had a Patty Melt? They are delicious :) It's basically a hamburger patty that is cooked and then placed between two pieces of Rye Bread with some cheese and grilled onions. Then they place the whole sandwich back in the pan to toast the bread and melt the cheese. It's super yummy when you dip it in ketchup and eat it with Onion Rings. It was one of my favorite meals when I was younger but I always ordered it with no grilled onions.

I'm home alone for New Year's and did not have anything special for dinner. In the past - my husband, myself, my son and maybe one of his friends would hang out at home and play board games .. watch the ball drop on TV from Times Square in New York. We'd eat finger foods like hot wings, chips, vegetables with dip or whatever else we wanted to have that day. We'd wait for midnight and we would all put on funny hats, blow noise makers, toast each other with sparkling cider and take pictures. My son and his friend would go outside and do all of their little popper noise makers too. This year, my husband is working (he's a long haul driver) and is currently in Utah waiting to pick up a load. My son is with his girlfriend at her house and I'm sitting here playing on MyLot. I have to work tomorrow so I will probably go to bed before midnight. It's only 8:30pm here right now. I haven't been feeling well - my throat hurts and I think I'm coming down with a cold so I had some hot tea and I made homemade nachos for my dinner. I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year's. Sissy.. your dinner sounds DELICIOUS! I hope you enjoyed it!

I am a little jealous about your meal. Hehe.... I had a meal prepared by mom. She prepared something I like to eat. It's a good meal. And my brother came home yesterday. All the family members are getting together to have the holiday.

Yup we are having a nice family meal to ring in the year. We usually do it on New Years Day but with a blizzard coming tomorrow we are having it tonight instead because we will likely lose power for much of tomorrow and won't be able to prepare anything that isn't out of a can tomorrow. Wish us all luck! LOL

I did not even eat dinner tonight. I have not been feeling well all day. I did manage to eat a little bit for lunch with my sister. We met her for lunch on her way through to Arkansas for the rest of the week.

We went out for breakfast. Other than that, no real plans. We may order in. We just had a baby 3 weeks ago on Dec 10. So it may be an early night. Sleep is a rare thing these days.
