HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL MY OLD FRIENDS & MY SOON TO BE NEW FRIENDS!!!
I plan on being right here from now until a little after midnight Eastern US time!!! I'm NOT going to have anything to drink until my glass of champagne as the ball drops over Time Square in New York at midnight my time. Now this will be an open party so say what you will but just be polite & courteous!!! Invite ALL your friends. We are here to HAVE FUN & spread PEACE & GOOD WILL. OK, who's first??? Share what is on your mind!!!

Mmmm...let's see it's 6:43p.m. so I guess I'm a bit fashionably late for this shindig..LOL...I was cleaning out my apartment good all day, sort of get rid of the old to welcome in the new. I've already made my special vegetable dip and have yet to make my finger sandwiches which I'll bring over...I'm getting my broom ready and will pick up howard then fly over. You're like me...I don't have my champagne until 12 on the dot and the ball has dropped.
Looking back, 2008 wasn't all that bad for me...I had it so much better than most folks, but of course ready to shake the dust off of the past year and look with bright promise that this new year will not only be better for me but for all my friends here at MyLot....some had real dousys of a year and my heart goes out to them in particular that things get better

Oh yeah, I wondered where you were pye. I try & use my New Years Eves to forget the past & look forward to the future!!! I spent my day taking care of Dad so now is MY time to unwind & forget the past. Lets get going on looking to the FUTURE!!!!!!

Hey Pye, I am waiting, it is freezing up on the roof. The Champagne has turned to ice already. Gee I'd better go back down to my apartment and get a blanket, I don't know how fast you fly.

well, we already passed the new year by now and it is 3:00 pm here at the moment... i didn't do anything much for new year eve last night... just having a seafood BBQ dinner with my church friends in my house until about 10:30 pm and then i have to clean up my house after all the mess... and the me and my hubby just watch the fireworks from the TV and then we went to sleep at about 1:00 am... take care and have a nice day...

Its very thoughtful of you t invite all of us for the much required party. There are so many people out here who might be lonely and in need of some companionship. Thankyou LadyMarissa. All I would say is for once let your troubles and guard take a back seat and come, lets dance and make merry while the the delicious food is being laid out. The flavour is too tempting. What's on the menu?

I am glad you found your way to my party!!! The food was varied. Onion Dip & Veggie Dip, pizza, hot dogs, fries, oriental food, Coke & Pepsi. If I left out anything, please let me know!!! I'll see if I can have it at my next party. Oh yes, I think there were brownies too. 
We ALL had a rough 2008 & I just felt it would be healthy to give people a reason to look toward better times ahead!!!

I have had a few drinkes now and I wish you Happy New Year, 2008 have been good to me but I know not for some, we can only look to the futere for better times and hope for that we will be happier, in this day and age we have to be positive and stay positeve, so good health to all my good friends here on mylot Hugs.

Let the New year party go on for a full year. Let the year garbinger peace andn goodwill amongst peoples of all nations and various religious groups. Let the world be a better palce for all of us to live in and let ther be progress and better facilities available for all of us. Let politics take aback seat and let progress move at a rapid pace.
