Here it is about 6:45 p.m. here in WA State, and 9:45 p.m. on the East Coast. I was wondering if there are others here from the USA that are busy posting in here before the cutoff, or were you too busy spending time with your family and friends?
Right now, I am busy posting here in myLot, and will be here probably until about the cutoff time, and then going to be busy spending time with my husband watching all of the New Years Celebrations and eating Crackers and Cheese, and then drinking Sparkling Cider to welcome in the New Year.
So did you do anything special, or you going to be just sitting around here online posting in myLot? Wishing you all a Safe and Happy New Year.

This is my first new years with my new boyfriend. He has his kids this year so we are staying in for the night. I don't know to many people around here since I am from a different province but he has invited a few people over. I know for sure only 1 outta 5 people will be coming over. We just wanted to relax at home even tho we could have had a sitter. Well munch out on some frozen entries in a bit. Right now it is 9:05.

I went with my best friend to her daughters house. They had a family party, they consider me family. We have been friends for many years. The kids and grandkids were all there. We all had a good time. We even sang Kareoke, had pizza, and other munchies. I had a really nice time, its been many years since I went anyplace for New Years Eve, I am so hapy that I went. If I hadn't of gone, I would have ended up being home alone.

I had to be at work at midnight so I was sleeping most of New Years Eve.Not really any celebrating here. I don't like that as I felt that it cheated my daughter out of some special time, but since my husbands' work has bottomed out due to the recession, then I think that it is important for me to work as much as I can.

Surprisingly I wasn't here earlier today. I tried to come by and make some posts but it just wasn't possible. I couldn't find anything that I felt was worth replying too. So I actually did other things while waiting for the time to switch to 2009. Happy New Year!

I didn't do anything special. I was on My Lot most of the night, I was going to the watch night service but decided not to because it was terribly cold and the wind was blowing real hard.
I waited up for the twins to come over afer the service and I went to bed.
Happy New Year

I stopped posting on New Years Eve around six thirty. Then we got ready to go to my younger son and fiance's house to meet the future in-laws. So we had a good time, snacking on chips and dips, tacos, cookies, finger food, etc. and it was so confusing, I took a few pictures, chatted, and welcomed in the New Year. By the time we got back it was about one thirty, and then we went to bed. So no posting on New Years eve.

Well today was a good day for me, I finally bought a 1989 Toyota Camry stationwagon with 114,000 miles on it to replace the car I wrecked back in November. It needs some minor work. But I will still be ahead, with no car payment and money in my savings account and it lowered my car insurance as well. I just finished playing winster, and now I am responding to discussions here and at gather. Probably will be doing that as I watch TV ringing in the new year.
Happy New Year!
