Yes.This is the most precious time a mother can have with her child. You are his whole world right now and trust me he needs you.Somehow most men just don't seem to understand that.In a few months,if you need the money, then going back to work is alright.

Yes, I think so. A daycare teacher shouldnt be raising someone elses baby. I realize some people just have no choice...but if you have a choice..I believe that staying home with your baby is the best. I personally dont think I could take my newborn to a daycare and walk away.
I use to work at a daycare and the baby just doesnt get all the attention and one on one time they need.

I raised 4 children and stayed home with all of them. I have always done some stay at home work to help out. But i would never leave my babies with anyone. I also nursed all of them, I couldn't imagine doing it any other way. remember that you only get one chance in life to raise your children, jobs, cars, nice houses are all things you can get at any time. Go with your gut feelings.

Absolutely! I have 2 kids and 1 on the way. I am sorry, but I do not want some stranger raising my kids, they are mine after all. Is he maybe a little jealous that you get to stay home and bond with your child? By the way your baby is adorable!

Let your husband think what ever he wants. I am a full time mom also and I believe just like you do. When my youngest was born my husband and I discussed it and we both agreed it would be better for us if I stay home with the kids. I dont regret it at all. My youngest is 2 and she is doing so good. I can see the diffrence in when I had to take my 2 older kids to a sitter then loking at my youngest at home with me there is definately a diffrence.
The little one is soooo adorable. cherish every moment cause they grow up so fast.

yes i think a mom should stay home with a baby until it's at least one. and i think the mom's that were working when they were pregnant and took off for maternity leaque should get payed for up to a year.

i think that is a personal opinion, some people cant afford to stay at home so they return to work. personally i chose to stay at home with my newborn and will up untill he is about 1 year old. I dont want to miss his milestones, and also because he was premature he has a low immune system and a kindy is a huge germ factory.

I think it is extremely important to stay home with the kids when they are young. They need so much and mom or dad is the best person to get it from.
But by all means, for parents that both have to work, I have been there too. Sometimes we do not have a choice. But given the choice, I would choose to stay home when they are young.
