cervical cancer

i am 23 years old and when i was 21 i found out i had the first stage of cervical cancer(carcinoma in situ)..it was very scary going through all the treatments. i didnt know until i went through it that it affects young people aswell. has anyone else had this experience?

hi aim. I am 27 now, I have had abnormal paps for 7 years now up to 2 years ago nothing was tested. At that time they had said that my numbers were high (whatever that meant) but that it was right before pre-cancer stage. Now 2 years later I have gone for that to severe pre-cancer. I have to go to the doctors every 3 months for a pap and biopsy (basically till it gets worse i guess). I had just had a surgery and they also found that it is spreading. What types of treatment did you have to go through?
