I see so many discussions every day on this site on how to make more money and work from home and suchlike and it amazies me how many people have not tried to jump on the "work from home freelance writing" bandwagon.
I am a freelance writer and I love it. I work when I want to work and I do the jobs that I want to do. I originally got most of my clients through a freelancing website (Which can be found on my blog from my profile page because I don't think I can post links on this) and now I have gone private with most of them. They ask me if I want work on a specific topic, I say yes and then I do it. Once it is completed I get paid in my paypal account and dependant on how much I work, I can earn some serious money.
The longer you do this job, the more private clients you get, which you know you can trust and you build up a friendship with them.
I see so many great discussions on this site and I want to respond to all of them and tell them to have a go at freelance writing as a work from home job. I dont' have that much time though unfortunately so apologies for that!
I have dedicated my blog to freelance writing as a way to make money from home and I would love to help others the way one person helped me. I can't even remember who pointed me in the direction of this site as it was over 2 years ago, but whoever they were - thanks! It has changed my life. I get to stay home and care for my husband and still earn money for the finer things in life!
I hope other people manage to be this profitable and I would love to help those that want to try this themselves. I am constantly trying to update my blog with more hints and tips so if you think of any questions tht I can answer that's not already on there, please let me know!
Happy new year to you all and I hope you all have a very profitable year ahread, whatever you choose to do!

I'm not sure about novel writing to be honest, I'm not really a novelist! To actually get into freelance writing is easy though, you just need to find a good site.
Why not take a peek at my blog from my profile page. There is a fair bit of information on there with the sites that I use, both to get freelance writing jobs as well as the other sites that I post my work to. There may be some useful bits and pieces on there for you.
I am trying to update it with various useful hints and tips so if you think of any, let me know!

hello, looks like you are interested in freelance writing.
you will have to join freelancing websites, where many people who want some work to be done, post their project. and then, according to our capability, we bid for those projects. Then, the project owner will select the freelancer who he thinks is the best. if you are selected, you have to finish the work and then, you'll be paid.
i am a freelance writer too...if you need any more info, or the list of good freelance sites, you are free to add me as friend and message me.
bye.

I am interested on being a freelance writer. I have a passion of writing and I can say that I can somehow use this to earn serious money. It is just good to do what you really like to do and be paid for it. It is like hitting 2 birds in one stone. Well, I am currently employed right now and I just need part time to earn money, I really want to save up for my future. I haven't been thinking of giving up my current job and really work from home full time. I did apply for one company, who hires freelance writers, here in country, I have submitted my resume to them say 3 weeks ago, but I really haven't got any replies. If you can give some tips and words about this path, it will be appreciated.

Hi there!
The best freelancing site that I have come across is the one on the bottom of my blog. (I don't know if I can post the link here) and this one needs no resumes or anything like that.
My blog is actualyl dedicated to making money with freelance writing and I am trying to leep it updated but with flu and suchlike, I haven't really had a chance. If you think of any questions that I can answer though, please let me know and I will try and post them on there!
Thanks and good luck!

You are so right. I looked at your blog and really liked it. I write for Associated Content and also have one article with Helium. I'm also signed up with Triond but haven't posted anything there yet. How did you get your individual clients though? Was it through these sites. I don't make much, partially because I don't submit as many articles as I should. This year I've set some goals but would like to know how to better them in order to make more money. If you have any suggestions, I'd love them. Thanks and Happy New Year.

Hi there, at the bottom of my blog there is a freelancing site which I get my clients from. There are jobs posted on there and you just bid on the ones that you want, how long you can do them in and also how much you expect to be paid and then you complete the task and get paid.
That is where I got most of my private clients from and you can get paid either through the site which is the safe way of doing it or through Paypal depending on which you prefer. Check it out and let me know how you got on with it!

I also do this, but on a much smaller scale. So far, I only have 2 regular clients, and I get some more for the odd assignment as well, but those are the only 2 I work with on a regular basis. I like it a lot, but since I just have 2 clients, I can't do it full time or anything yet.

Hi missberlee. How are you? I am happy for you. That is my dream job. I am excited to know which website is that. I have just been paid $2.50 for my very first article today. But I don't have any idea which site is my co-blogger working for. She only asked me to submit my entry to her email address. I asked her, but I think she prefer not to tell me.
I've been searching online for any article writing work. I have tried iwriter but I find the topics hard for me to start sharing my thoughts about it. I ended up not being able to submit my entry because it's only 170 words and they require a minimum of 300.
I prefer categories like food, travel, love, health, life, money as one of the areas I have more knowledge about.
I hope to hear from you. (I have noticed this post was 4 years ago). Thank you.
Have a great day!
