I have heard a lot about this product. It's actually the craze in Asian countries. Is it effective? Have anybody tried this one?

My advise to you is that you first consult a dermatologist. I have tried kogic soup and it really whitens my skin. I have allergies in whitening products such as whitening soap and lotions. But with kogic soup (kojie san) my face and skin whitens and I see visible results for just 2 weeks. I can consume 1 bar per week. Hope this will work with you too.. Good luck!

Well, I know nothing about the product as I'm Caucasian already. But your posting reflects a question that I have had for quite some time and perhaps because you we're willing to post this discussion in the first place you would be open to sharing your views with me.
I have known for quite some time that those who have darker skinned complexions wished to lighten or whiten your skin. I'm just wondering as to why this is? Why is it that darker skin is considered lower class then lighter skin? Perhaps not lower class, but why is lighter more beautiful?
Some of the most beautiful people that I've seen has been that of people whose skin tones much darker than my own. In fact I personally appreciate others that look differently than I do.
Would you care to comment on why you think that Asian culture values lighter skin or whiter skin over naturally darker skin?
What a great first posting and welcome to Mylot!
