why so many referral posts in making extra money?

Dear mylotters, I enjoy this forum very much and I learned a lot from this forum. But recently I see a lot of posts with referral links and almost nothing else. I don't know what are your feelings, but I am really upset about that.
I felt worse when I followed some guy's referral link and did a lot of work. Then a couple of weeks later I found it is a scam site after I submitted my first payment request. How can you just post a referral link without investigating into the site? How can you treat your fellow mylotters like this?
I am not a leader here in any sense, but I do hope we can work together to make this forum (make extra money online) a better place with lots of useful information and discussion.
Thanks for your time and happy mylotting!

I think that is why myLot has in its TOS that referral links should be relegated to our profiles, and that we should not use them in our discussions we post or in responses. Too bad more people don't pay attention to that.
By the way, check out this opportunity I just found out about at www... no, I'm just kidding.

good suggestion!
i also cheated by some sites when i submitted my first payment request,
they have thousands of excuse to refuse the cashout, even they require us to spend tens amount to get only 3 dollars. how scamist they are, hate all these kinds of sites.

we are actually not allowed to post referral links here... it is against mylot rules and the discussion can get deleted... i never want to reply to discussions with referral links because i know that it will eventually get deleted and i am wasting my time there... take care and have a nice day...

That's true my dear friend. But practically it's difficult to expect everyone to be genuine in public forums. It should be our responsibility that we investigate and spend our efforts before investing time into such sites.

You will find that a large amount of people do that and they annoy me too. I don't really care what someone says about a site unless they have payment proof and more people say it's legit with proof. The majority of GPT sites are scams or dishonest so getting paid by all GPT's you join is hardly possible even if you are being selective. There are quite a few sites that seem to pay some users and get rid of others although they did nothing wrong.
Anyhow I think posting links should not be allowed in discussions it looks ugly and there could be money interest involved. Only place for links should be in the profile since this is usually allowed on all sites.

I can not agree more. These people are actually ruin this place. I think mylot should pay particular attention to this forum. We are looking for and sharing opportunities here instead of spams in any case.
To those who like to post their referral links, Please respect your fellow mylotter's time and trust. Please do your homework about the site and share more information about the site, don't just produce garbage there.
To a better mylot:)

Well, you should go with my sites. They are established, I have posted proof of payment, daily earnings, & site reviews on my blog. I only go with sites I have truly tried & I know they are very trusted sites with a forum of happy members to show & paychecks/ paypal payments are always payed on time every month. So, the only programs you need to join are mine- because they are the highest paying ones & are the best. G/L

I am new at MyLot and was under the impression that referral links were not even allowed in the discussions. I think that sort of self promotion should be limited to people's personal profiles. If I was was scammed like you were I would be majorly ticked off.

Making extra money online is a long and arduous route, i think most online marketing money making opportunity depends on referrals. So even before the person gets their first payment request, they started going online telling everyone how fantastic the website is. When they submit their payment request, empty promises.
