I love ramen noodles but at times they can get very plain and boring. Sometimes I will sautee some onions and bell peppers and put the in the noodles. Do you like to spice your ramen noodles up and put different ingredients in them?

We add bits of bread or croutons, if we have them, to our ramen noodles. It definitely adds texture and lightens it up a bit because it is pretty salty. Oh, and if we have fried pork rinds, we'd top our ramen with that -- we don't do that very often but when we do, it's a treat. :P

Yes I love and eat ramen noodles. I spice them up sometimes with fried onions, and coriander leaves, capsicum, fried eggs, and some oregano. They taste great then. Oregano is a good taste maker in case of instant noodles, and you can try them.

I always do, I have many different ways I eat Ramen Noodles. Like there is this one dish where you put Cheetos's and slim jims in it that there is so good. There is another one that my friend made for me once you make the Ramen Noodles and the drain the liquid and add some butter to it and then mix it up with the seasonings. Another one I have tried once is Ramen Noodles with fried rice and Veggies and hamburger that there is really good. My hubby eats it with Parmesan cheese which I refuse to try. But now days you can do so many different things with Ramen Noodle. I think some time I am going to make chicken Ramen Noodles and put chicken in it with corn and potatoes. That might just taste good. Happy Mylotting

I think adding things to noodles is great as I find my children love bits of chopped up meat and sauces like soups added to them and find them more tasty. I am not a big noodle fan myself but if the children eat it then it's all good to me.

I usually slice some fried egg, spam, green onions, baby bok choy then add pepper and soy sauce. It's much more filling and adds taste to it. I will sometimes make fried noodles with it. It's one of the many popular local dishes where I'm from. When you make fried noodles, you can add any kind of meats and vegetables. Then cook it in sesame oil, soy sauce and sometimes oyster sauce. Yum, it's so good. I think I'll have that for lunch today. Thanks.

I have never used anything in mine but have heard several other people who have. I think they would be good with some mushrooms in them. HMMMM, wonder what else people add to them.

I don't usually eat these the traditional way. I usually add the dry noodled andseasoning pack to my stirfry dish. I let the noodled cook in the dish then serve it over rice. I usually use the oriental flavor for this or the pork or beef flavor.

My dad put eggs in his, which I think was odd. But some people have put eggs in their too, so he's not strange after all. ^___^ sorry daddy. For me, I just put whatever is in the bag that it gave us. I love hot chilly pepper. So I put it in, lots of it. Putting some salad in it is good too. Of course you have to do it after the noodle is cook. =D I live by noodles in college. hehehee... Long live Ramen Noodles!

I can eat it alone in its own broth made from adding the seasoning into the boiled water. I don't think it was meant to be eaten by itself though, but just like rice and pasta (which also provide carbohydrates), need to be combined with either seafood, beef, pork, etc. to get a nutritious meal. You can also add veggies to it. I've tried adding eggs with it, and it was good, but not cheese, as others above me have done.

I like to decrease the water a little and add a can of cream of chicken soup and peppers and diced chicken and put cheese on top for a great chicken casserole!

At the very least I have to add cheese. If I have a little time I add cheese and a boiled egg. I have tried onion and bell pepper too. It is just nice that something so inexpensive is versatile enough so you don't get bored with it if you have to eat it often.

The other day I made some beef ramen with some hamburger for my brothers and they loved it. Also, adding cream of chicken soup and mushrooms to ramen is good.

Sometimes I do like to add other things to my ramen noodles. I love them but like you said, sometimes they just get boring and need to be spiced up a bit. Sometimes I just add a bit of butter to the noodles after I drain them and add the seasoning packet. Sometimes I cook up some meat, namely chicken and add other seasonings to the noodles and then cut up the chicken and mix it in with the noodles. Sometimes I add other things like onions, meat and sometimes other veggies and try to make a huge meal out of it. It just depends on what I've got on hand and what I'm in the mood for.

I don't eat them very often , but when I do I don't add anything to them. I normally drain off almost all of the water before I stir in the seasoning packet though. My brother used to add some cream of mushroom soup to his ramen noodles.
