has 2008 been a good year to you?

Thanks for your greeting! For me,yr2008 was sound.I got a brand-new job in yr2008,which is always keeping me busy and be a learner for new knowledge,I like the new job so far~and my wife and I had some wonderful domestic travellings.What's more,my wife had been promoted in yr2008 and thus got increased in the salary la~wow~~ Look forward to the new year and the new year holiday to Thailand~lol~

Hey there I had a pretty bad year as my dad had cancer and was all ways in and out of hospital as was my neice all ways in and out of hospital with astma or her eplepsy playing up then I found out I had gale stones after being in accident and emergency a number of times my mum had a possible stroke and ended up in accident and emergancy the day before we where meant to be burrying my father as we lost him on his dads birthday so I found out 2 hours before he past away with a mix of nemona and his cancer also happened to not only be his dads birthday in late September but he also would of been 62 2 weeks after he pasted away then for the last think for the year I go into accident and emergancy for what both my mother and I thought where my gale stones playing up just to find out when the doctor came in that I was about 13 weeks pregnent so you could say it was not a good year for my family and I at all as it was just one think after the other but hope this year will turn out to be a much better year so far it has not been that bad of a year but it only is only 5 days in to the start of this year. First of all i wish everyone for a prosperous new year. in 2008 i have enjoyed a lot of things and i have learned manythings like how to earn in internet all. especially i came to know about this wonderful site.

Hi skbh12 wish you happy new year.In 2008, i'm very happy because i learn more thing about in english languge and i got many friends in that year.one important thing is one person enter into my life,that is my woodbee.i will geting marrage on feb 2009.So these two year are very good for me.

well not in a way but knowing what happened in the past year i no the next year is not going to be a good one either, my flying is closed for it had to renovate its runway !! and now the CFI has also left the school, but the construction has not yet started and the we dont know what the school is upto now !

It's more of a better year than bad. We became financially stable. Our small family business did good and we're earning decently. We bought a brand new SUV for our family and we're planning to buy a new house and lot for more convenient. I also got a new girlfriend after a year of none. I guess she'll be my wife in 2 years. I'm so happy that I found her.

Well 2008 for me has been a good year. Maybe because during that year, i found lots of challenges that i was able to partly (if not fully) overcome and faced. I met lots of good friends and good people who mirrored and improved my personality. I happily worked and served a company with sincere concern on its employes coupled with colleagues who are easy to work with. Likewise, having a boss who's not just a boss but a friend. And of course, i have healthy kids who help characterize a healthy family. That's all.

Frankly speaking, the 2008 was a good year for me, but not for the rest of world. For me, I bought the PSP, upgraded my PC, got my first paycheck ever, etc. etc. But for the world there was inflation, Mumbai Terror Blasts, Wall Street Journal Breakdown, and a lot more trouble to call 2008 a "Good" Year. hi skbh,,well 2008 is a not a bad year for me and i always thankful to god that my age are still adding hoping for a great start this 2009 and i do hope i could fulfill all my duties as a mother,a wife,and as a person..anyway its good to hear that you and your boyfriend are having a good relationship hope to hear your wedding bells..cheers!!!

For me, it's a good year except the last month. In this year, I found a good job and go Beijing to watch the Olympics. All of this made me very happy. But in the last month, I was so busy, I prepared the paper for graduate, that made me so tired. But in 2009, I will graduate from the college, I hope I can have a big success in 2009.

i would say the year 2008 was not a bad one .i had some good things happening to me and i rate this year as not a worst year.i also lot of misfotunes following me.happy myloting and have a nice day........

Last year was really average for me i expected to gain more but the greatest thing i have life. There are many who didn't make it through last year I must be thankful to the father for keeping me throughout the year safe and healthy. I have health and strength to make it better for 2009 love you all and may the rest of the year be great do everyone happy mylotting.

I can say that year 2008 has been good to me. I was able to save some money, I've gain some friends and for the thing that I'm thankful the most is that I've met my special someone that year. I hope year 2009 will be as great as the previous year. Happy New Year to everyone! Happy MyLotting!

2008 was actually a pretty good year until around October and then it went rubbish, and it ended on a pretty dull note so i am hoping that this year just improves on that a bit! I am happy for you and your boyfriend and hope that you have lots more years of anniversaries and happiness.

I'm a person who have a low self esteem and doesn't believe in herself in doing things. I'm so want to change it but I didn't always got the chance. But this 2008 was a life changing for me. I was able to model a designer's cloth and do the ramp walk in our nurse's night. I'm into near nervous breakdown because it was the first time I done this in my whole life but surprisingly it turn really well. I was appreciated by my classmates and they said that I did well and I'm like a model. That maybe the highlight of my 2008 but there were some good things that happen to me.

i think 2008 was much better year for me..as i got a girlfriend this year...then i made many new friends...i solved many of my personal problems..i improved my english and knowledge as well..so overall it was much better year for me...and happy new year to all of my friends and gudluck for ya future...
