How much can you spend a money in every day, weeks and every month?
Does it seem that you never have quite enough spending money?
If only your allowance were a little, you could buy that game you want.
If only your wages were higher, you could buy those shoes you need.
However, rather than fret about the money you don't have, why not learn to control the
the money that does pass through your hands?
A Wise person will listen and take in more instruction, and a man of understanding is thone who acquires skillful direction.
Admittedly, controlling your spending is easier in theory than in practice, especilly you live at home and receive an allowance or earn money from a job.
Why? Because your parents are likely paying most of the bills. So large percentage of your money may be available for you to spend at will. And spending money can be fun..
It is natural for you to want to fit in with your friends. But ask yourself, I am spending money with my friends because I can afford to or because I feel i have to?
many people spend money in an attempt to boost their reputation with friends and associates. This is tendency can cause real financial problem for you.
Instead of maxing out your credit card or spending your whole paycheck on one night out. Why not try that, before you go out with your friends, try to calculate a limit to your spending. and try also to choose a friend who is wise and carefull with their money and who will encourage you to shop around and not buy the first thing you see...
Money is also time. That is emphasize that people must spend time to earn money and wasting time is wasting money...Now not only a Time is gold but also Time is Money.

oh yes... i agree with you that money is important... but we shouldn't treat it like God... i believe that there are many other things in this life that is much more important than money... for example, love and friendship... and to me, time is not money... time is opportunity and i treat money only as a tool to survive in this temporary world... take care and have a nice day...

i think all you have written in respect to money and time. but i see life in a different way. where i don't find myself competiting with others for money as well as power in the race. i spend money when i like to. when sometimes i see a shirt or anything that i like i want to buy. i never prefer very costly ones but this is just one big way to be happy.you are right in this world all that count is money but, there are people whom you can't buy through money. they sale themselves only to good people.and spending money is a personal choice. if someone wants to spend it the way hes having them shouldn't bother others, while others are not helping him earning the money. but if someone wants to invest money in proper way and that investment is going to help the country then he should be given some priorities . because hes doing the servicefor both. the country as well as for him...

When I worked, I spend more than I earned. Now, it's like whatever I run into, that's what I spend. But I learned a valuable lesson from this past year and from years past, and that is, don't spend ALL your money, save some because hard times like a wise friend told me, REALLY do come. And the hard times are NOW. So whenever I get money, I hold on to a 5-10% to get into the habit. That's not easy, but I do it to start a better habit. Then that way, things work out for the better and I'm more disciplined with my business. I am sorry I didn't heed this in years past. But Lord knows I tried to do it. But didn't keep it up. While in the service, I had savings bonds taken out and i spent them. Right now, they'd be real nice If I had them.

I agree with you that time is money, the time we own in life is limited, so we need to use these limited time to do something useful and helpful. Money is indeed important, but there are things more important like happiness and health, which can not bought by money.

Without a doubt, money is a very essential thing these days.. i mean, you can't buy basic necessities and other stuffs without paying a cent.. we need to use our money wisely.. and with the financial crisis and all the recessions, we should learn to save and value our money..

This is a very wise post. I'm guilty of overspending at times, often on things that help me be more sane, so it seems worth it me in those cases. But, at times, I fritter away money on books (a lot)or more lately pay per view, a new treat I've discovered as a way to deal with all this snow we've been getting in my neck of the woods (gotta cut that out).

Money is indeed important. Very important. Money is used for buying things, services, or anything that has a price. It is important that we can manage it well. Spend it in good things only and able to save it for rainy season. It is good that we know how to spend it properly because money will not last forever.

Hi there!
If given a chance to carry a big amount of money on my pocket (say a million)--how i wish!....i could spend it in about an hour...lol.
kidding aside, of course money is important so once i have that million, maybe i would just cherish for a year before thinking or daring mysel to spend it already.
so far, in a day, since budget is so tight, i could say (practicality wise) i would wanted to spend just a hundred bucks.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

..money is really tight for me since I already have a family with one daughter and I'm the breadwinner of the family.. I try my best to budget and stretch my salarty to meet our financial needs.. it's really nice to save atleast a little of your money.. The secret is budgeting for your needs not for your wnats.. It is best to weigh things first.. Differentiate the things we need in life and the things we want.. If the money is not enough, then we prioritize those thiongs that we need to survive..

As correctly said, TIme is Money and in this phase of life we can not afford to loose money. Money is such a commodity that can be spent as much as you wish to without even giving it a thought. There are so many desires unfullfilled that it is difficult to save it. I can spend any amount of money given.

it's hard to earn more money at this period, so we only pays for daily meals and bus ticket, phone bills. though i used to spent all the moeny away to feel myself rich ...haha~~it's funny for rememberance but as years goes by and the ages added, we need to save money for further life.

i always am in a tight position regarding money.. but somehow i manage with the help of my friends.. the main problem for me is fuel for my bike.. it needs a lot of fuel.. and i have to use most of my allowance for that instead of my other needs.. but i am not complaining.. i just need enough money to pay my bills and have lot of fuel in my vehicle..lol maybe a little more.. but i think thats enough.. il get terribly bored if i got loads of money.. il miss out some beautiful things that i do now and i cant do those if i have loads of money.. (like sitting on the road and chilling out with friends,, if i had money i would sit in a hotel or pub.. but i love sitting on the road you see.. he he)
