yeah .. I did that too .. after tried couple of stock sites such as dreamstime, istockphoto, shutterstock, fotolia, bigstockphoto, I finally decided to stay with dreamstime. I don't know why, but it more convenience for me to upload and browse.
Do visit my portfolio here: http://www.dreamstime.com/afirozia_info
You might be interested to join it too. So far I have 80 photos online, 61 sales.

hmm thanks for the recommendations! I was looking into Shutterstock but didn't know about the other ones. Any specific reason why you prefer dreamstime? have you been making decent money on it? and do the pix have to be exclusive or could you put them on all of those sites?

Well, what I do is to post my pictures online that pays me for each view.
The other is to upload them onto some stock site and wait for people to download it and get paid for it.
Another option is to seek out magazines, print media or even online magazine and then offer your pictures to them for a fee.
If you are interested in the first two option I mentioned, I have links to recommend you. They are slow in earnings, but they pay.

I have been selling on Fotolia. They seem very picky at the images they accept. I only have 83 images accepted with 47 sales. It doesn't pay a whole lot but I like getting exposure for my images. You never know where you might see one of your images.

I get a lot more income from sales of prints and product made with my photos than I ever have from stock sites. T-Shirts and mugs are good movers, and every year I sell a few calendars, mouse pads, key-rings etc.
Check me out at www.zazzle.com/practicaps and see if you like the idea. Zazzle is not the only site that makes up goods on demand and sells them on your behalf, but it is the one that I have had most success on.

Well...I only upload them onto the stock photo site and wait for people to download it. I don't think that my works will be sold for a very high price so I am looking at quantity purchase. I think most photographers who sells through stock agency does that. I do see them upload a lot of photographs all at once with little difference. Maybe one might catch the attention of potential buyers. Cheers and Happy MyLotting...
