Hello stormy09! I guess the difference between goals and dreams is that goals means something that you want to achieve while dreams is something that you want to do but not really wanting it or like achieving it.
Like for example, you dream to be a millionaire then you want to achieve or you really want it to be in reality so you have now your goal to be a millionaire.

I hope you understand. Actually it's hard for me..hehehe..[/i]

Yap ais you are correct and goal is more specific and focused than the dream. Dream can be big and seem unrealistic and dreams is not focused or specific as goals.. Goal is something that u want to achieve.
But u know goals & dreams sometimes complement each other, like what u said if u you have dream to be a millionaire and you really wanted to be a millionaire then the goal well takes place.. If you have any dreams without any goals to support them, you can easily feel overwhelmed by the enormity of your dreams.
( parang ang gulo ng answer ko hehe)

you're totally right..(hindi naman magulo answer mo eh..) a dream would be a dream and if you want it to be a reality set a goal to get it..

For myself goals are things that I want to get in life that are actually reachable and workable. Dreams are wishes that may or may not come true. Like I have a goal to be self sufficient and have a career, while I may dream of winning the million. I would rather spend my energy on my goals rather than my dreams. I have short and long term goals that I have. Most of my dreams I thought I wanted only to later realize that I was better off without them.

Hey,
To keep it simple I like to think of goals as something that is achievable and a dream as something that isn't that achievable but would like to have. For example, earning $100 per month would be my goal because it is relatively easy to achieve for most people. On the other hand a dream is something that you would like to have like a Lamborghini or a huge 3 storey house but it isn't really in our reach. But some people still think that of dreams and goals as the same thing. Like I said above which is all written from my head, goals are slightly different to dreams. Hope this helps some of you :D
