How to upgrade windows xp sp2 to xp sp3?

I am using Windows xp professional service pack 2, with the kaspersky 8.0 antivirus, I want to upgrade to xp sp3, when i am upgrading, I am getting error disable anitvirus. How to disable Kaspersky 8.0 antivirus

start windows in safe mode and then install sp3. to start windows in safe press f8 while it is loading windows xp (immediate on pc finish booting procedure)
the other way is to uninstall kaspersky and install sp3. make sure you dont surf while there is not active antivirus installed.

I want to install without uninstall kaspersky, can you give me any idea

Typical Kaspersky, always one of the troublemakers hehe.
Download SP3 to your desktop.
Scan the file with your virus checker (just to be sure, in case its picked something up on the way down)
Disconnect your Internet
Having done so, disable your virus checker (no net connection so no problem)
Install SP3
On reboot re-enable virus checker and connect back to net

Ok, I tried, I have downloaded sp3, ok, I installed sp3 with out disable my kaspersky
