Have you got the bad habit of taking food out of your mouth whilst eating?
What I mean is when you are eating something and you can't digest it, or it tastes foul do you discreetly empty your mouth if anyone else is around or do you spit it back onto your plate or do you quickly swallow?
Plus do you take half eaten food out of your mouth to feed to your young children or if your pet is looking up at you expectantly do you bite into something and give your pet a piece of what you have been eating/chewing?
I have a bad habit of biting into brazil nuts and putting them into my yoghurts, great for protein because I need to feed my muscles, but I always do it when I am on my own, I have a big bag of brazil nuts, I take about a dozen and I break them up in my mouth and take them out and put them into my yoghurt to eat, delicious, but I guess it doesn't sound too nice!
What does your family say when you take food out of your mouth either to get rid of it, to share it with others or to give to the animals?
Do you get moaned at for doing this, or do your family do it as well without a second thought?

Stuff your "bad" habit: if I have something in my mouth which eithr displeaes me or threatens me. the last thing in the world I will be worried about is other people's genteel sensibilities: out it comes.
A "bad" hav=bit is lying, or stealing, or cheating or ..... It;s not some silly social conformity thing.

I agree. If I bite something that is unpleasant then I will remove it. I see no reason why I should be forced to swallow it just because someone else has a problem with it.
I do not understand the attitude that people should conform to some generic view of what is right or wrong.

Once it's in my mouth, it's there to stay! There are many times I've WANTED to get rid of something (bits of gristle, etc.) in public, but all you can do is swallow and hope you don't gag. If there's a paper napkin handy and I could be discreet, I would dispose of the offending morsel - but certainly not if anyone could see me doing it.

Oh yes, if it tastes bad and I dont like it, out it comes lol and I will try to place it in a napkin and throw it away or get up and go spit it out. I will not place it back on the plate when I do.lol I think that is just too gross for me lol I have done that when something burned because of hot peppers also.

When I eat something that is bad, like a bad walnut or gristle, then I will go to the kitchen, and through it into the garbage can and if I cannot leave (out in company) I will put it on the side of the plate and say nothing. I do not take half eaten food out of my mouth to feed the children. In fact I do not do that for pets. I will bite into a walnut or a nut to put into yogurt if there is no knife around, but usually I will use a knife.
And if I do, I make sure there is no one around to see me. I would get sh*t if I did that in company, so best not to.

Heavens No! If I have something in my mouth that I need to get rid of, I will discretely get it into my napkin. As for pets, I dont have any, but if I did, I probably wouldnt feed them of my food. Kids...cant remember if I ever did that, but I'm thinking not.

I don't have the habit of taking the food out of mm mouth. Usually I judge the food by its smell and appearance. If I think I don't like something I don't put it into my mouth. If however I do taste something that is not to my liking I usually get up and go to the bathroom and throw the unwanted food into the toilet.

I think it's terrible for me to take the food out of my mouth. I have experienced it but I was unable to take the food out. Since it's just too rude. I had no better options and I had to swallow it directly so that the worse feeling would decrease.

I refuse to swallow anything that tastes bad and could actually be harmful. I have no problem removing food that is inedible. What if you bit an apple and got a bug in your mouth are you going to swallow it?
I do not think so. I would spit it out and if other people have a problem with that then that is their problem not mine. If you eat something that tastes bad then it probably is and if you swallow it you could make yourself sick. That is stupid.

When I'm around with other people or I'm eating in my friend house I'll just swallow it fast and drink water immediately. But if I'm in my house I'll just go in the kitchen and take the food out of my mouth there. There are one time that I have to spit the food in my mouth right away because its so hot and it hurts my tongue, thankfully I am home and its just me and my husband.

it is very imminent dat you cannot eat stuff that tastes good to your mouth you either avoid eating or empty your mouth using a cloth or a tissue in a restaurant or an hotel. anyways these facilities dont serve food that bad.
it happened to me while i was gorging on the dryfruits when i chew upon a rotten one it was bad man believe me i had to spit it from my mouth and had to rinse my mouth with water to get the bad taste out of my mouth.
watch out for dryfruits when you consume them.

I dont , But many children do these kind of things. i have seen Childrens spitting out on their plates if they are not feeling the taste good , i ve also seen people feeding their pets mainly parrots and dogs . some will keep the rice minced in their mouth and make the parrot to have it .

One more thing to add on this regard, i have heard that our mouth and salaiva is very poisonous. People say that if you keep a scoop of raw rice in your mouth before you go to sleep and make sure that it is in your mouth the full day and the next day morning if you put that rice which was in your mouth to any hen or feed to any bird "it will die"

I am not in a habit of doing such a thing but I do it when I eat something hard that I can't swallow. I am such a picky eater that I make sure I am so into the food that I put in my mouth. I haven't EVER experienced too of feeding anybody my half chewed or eaten food. It sounds just so yucky! I think I won't even eat anything that I have chewed and spit out and eat again. Ewww...I just find it gross even if its from me.
