This is a shot of my fropnt deck railing on the 23rd of December. We got nearly 6 inches of snow that afternoon/evening. This made for a great white Christmas. It would have been whiote anyhow, but this made it all that much better being freshly fallen and so white and poure looking. Did you have a white Christmas? If not in an area of snow possibilities, have you ever wanted to experience a white Christmas, and why? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Well, I am here in neighboring Wisconsin, and yes we had a white Christmas, and we liked it too! My favorites snows are for Christmas, the first snow.. and the last snow.. When they are fresh and white.

Yes, I have wanted to experience a white Christmas, Grandpa Bob, but mostly when I was little. It's probably due to the song "White Christmas" or something similar that put such an idea into my head in the first place. LOL With never having a white Christmas I wanted to be able to experience it. It sounded so pretty and nice. Unless I can stay indoors the entire time I don't care to experience one now, but I would do it for my kids.

Nope, I've never seen one. There were probably other factors that played up to me wanting a white Christmas, but the song was one of them, that's for sure!

Oh no, now I need to start my search again for the pictures of our white Christmas we had a few years ago. On our local news on Christmas Eve they were showing pictures of our snow storm and yes, he did say it was a snow storm. I had forgotten but we did have some thunder during some of our snow Christmas Eve. I would love to have another White Christmas, it is so pretty.

It was beautiful....and darn cold too! We enjoyed the snow. It gave Christmas a very meaningful look about it....I couldn't see spending Christmas without it....but my daughter in Arizona says it doesn't bother them. I am however past the Christmas spirit and looking forward to spring....anytime!

That is very nice. I wish we could have had a white Christmas here in southern Indiana. We have not had one in years. We have not gotten any snow on the ground this year yet. I wish it would snow here soon other than just a flurry or two that melts in no time.

Hi Grandpa Bob! That looks great and cold! Well, I live in a tropical country as you already know which is why I have always wished to experience a white Christmas before. And that wish came true when I went to Great Britain a few years ago and have experienced snow for the first time in my life. I was happy experiencing White Christmas but at the same time sad because my husband was not able to come since he was tied up with his work at that time. Nevertheless, it was very memorable for me. Take care always and have a nice day! lovelots..faith210

I love having snow for Christmas and remember that most were snowy when I was a child. Now the snow usually waits for January here in Ohio. In fact, it's snowing a bit right now! Most of it fell yesterday and last night, there are a couple inches in my yard and it's so beautiful!

I recall many very snowy Christmasses as both a child and adult. I ca not recall the snowiest though as being in Minnesota there's been a lot of them. I've still got close to 18 inches or so left on the ground and a couple more inches due Friday as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

NO, Christmas Day was about 80 degrees with a very cool breeze so it was perfect. We ate in my 'breeze room' that I have turned into a permanent dining roomas it worked out so well. This is an extension to my small house but it has only walls half way and the other half is decorative wrought irnon grills that can be covered by awnings. I had it as an extra small sitting room as it is always cool. Now, I have my dining table out there and we just love being ther to eat. Blessings

Yes, we here in Seattle were Lucky enough to experience a White Christmas for once. It melted like 2 days later, and except for a brief Snow storm last Sunday it is gone for now. It was nice to finally be able to have a White Christmas here, and quite pretty as well. I actually Love a White Christmas, and it is even better knowing it usually is short lived here as well. But thanks for showing your photos with us once again.

Yes, we did have a white Christmas (which I wished for), but got too much of it, though. Wish I could show you a photo of the 2 to 3 feet of snow that fell Christmas week here. That's an aberration around here, despite us being in Canada.

I've never really seen a fresh snow in all my life. Thanks you posted a nice picture but I wish I could really see and feel how cold it is when there are snows around. I live in the Philippines so snows do not at all come to us. We can never experience white Christmas here. I don't know if this is an advantage or not. What I know is when I see snows in the movies, I sort of wishing I was in that same place to experience it.

I've definitely wanted a white Christmas - I haven't had one since I was six and left England. I remember going for a walk with my mother one evening to buy some strips of coloured paper to make paper chains. It was snowing and the street lights were on, and it was really pretty. That's the only Christmassy thing I remember - but it was lovely.
