We all know that Ciao is one of the best sites ib the internet. It has given a total earnings of $115 in three months. I was not able to log in the site for the past three days since I am very busy with my work at the same time in some other things. When I log in today, the site says that my account was blocked. They blocked my account without sending me any reasons of blocking the account.I did not even spam the site. I am just really sad and upset because I have a good status in the site. I am already a red dot. I really work hard in the site to maintain that good status. I advice each and everyone here to be very careful with the site. Take good care of your account. I just have a question, will I still get the payment that I requested last month? I work hard in that site. I am really upset. I will focus on the site that really deserve my time and effort.

I was just going through the discussion and find it very bad that without and reason ciao has blocked your account.I have just joined mylot 3 days back and i know that if you do something against the terms & conditions of the site, they will cancel your membership ,but without any notification,it is bad.At least the reason must be explained.
Now i have also developed some questions on the validity of these sites. It means these cannot be relied upon fully for income.

Sorry to tell you this but these sites are not here to provide you with a full income - they are here to enjoy the experience of and earn a bit of pocket money! The only people who can earn full income from these sites are the people who work for the business full time, i.e. are on the payroll. If you knew what level of abuse was going on in Ciao.com you would know that they don't have the time or inclination to let every member know that their account is being closed and why. If people are breaking the rules, they cancel accounts, end of story. If people feel they have done nothing wrong and are sure of this, then they have the option to email Ciao and ask for further details - Ciao has no obligation to give an explanation...

I'm sorry to hear that your ciao account is closed. But the owners of the site are very responsive, they answered all my emails. I think you can contact them and give them some time to respond. Contacting them will show how much you are serious about keeping your account.
I completely forgot about ciao and I think the last time I logged in was a month ago. I didn't have a problem when I checked today so I would think it's not closed because of inactivity. I hope they will reopen your account soon. Take care.

The best thing you can do is to send an email or report to ciao's support.. ask them why they have blocked your account without informing you.. i've been a member of ciao for barely three months and so far, i've had no problems with them.. it's just that the pointing system is quite disappointing..

I am sorry to hear that. I think that best thing that you can do is to email them and ask for reason why your account was being blocked. At least you will hear even a little explanation from them. Maybe we don't know it was just a mistake.

Well I have heard of this site before but I never really tried it. I don't think the site would have cut you off for no reason. Maybe you violated the TOU.I think that it's a mistake or misunderstanding and they will probably get your account up and running soon.

I am very sorry to hear this and I can really understand how you feel ,because it also happened to me. I had written 66 reviews and they blocked my account for no apparent reason. I wrote them an e-mail to ask why my account had been blocked and their answer was that it was about plagiarism. I contested this and answered them again, I know the rules and I surely and honestly did not copy. After this they found another excuse and said that it was I had another account, this was also not true and i wrote to them again. To make it short after many e-mails sent to them they still blocked my account for no reason and I did not even get paid! After doing so much work I was really disappointed .
What I would suggest to you is that you write them an e-mail and tell them to explain to you what you did wrong. Goodluck ,hope that it will work out fine for you and hope you will get your account back in no time at all!

I was in the same position like you in ciao, I just requested for my first payment request and three days after when I signed in I couldn't open my account and there comes the message saying my account has been blocked and no sign of payment information thereafter...So now completely left that side and now am concentrating in MMk and Mylots..Happy posting!!

Ciao is the site where you can post your experience on the product they have listed in their site and earn some cents depending on the rate given by other members and also according to your rate given to others but now the new rules have came up about that I don't know properly as I have stop this site since December..Happy posting!!

Sorry to tell you this but I pretty much doubt that you'll get any payment from the site if your account has been closed. You must have done something agains the terms and conditions - possibly without even knowing it. You might have copied and pasted text from somewhere else on the internet and been reported for it as that constitutes plagiarism, or you could have given someone revenge ratings, e.g. given low rating(s) straight after they gave you a low rating even if their review did not deserve it. You might have send a message to someone on the site and used words that could be deemed as abusive - I am not saying that you did any of these things - but if you could think of your activity there and try to work out if you broke any of these rules. Also there are a lot of people with very large friends lists on Ciao and they spend their whole time on the site reading and rating each other and giving each other high ratings such as VH or E when the reviews clearly don't deserve that - this can show that you have not even read the review and have just given a rating - this is also considered abuse. I have seen lots of reviews on the site by members with huge friends lists and the review does not even cover the category it's supposed to (e.g. someone reviewed a phone when the review was supposed to be about a beauty product) and several people had rated it with a VH and even E ratings - showing they clearly hadn't read the review as the first line started off discussing the beauty product and then they started talking about the phone. If you are really 100% sure that you did not do any of the above or break any of the site's rules then you might be able to get your account back - just wait on a reply from Ciao for a few days, if not, maybe try dropping them another line.
