For me, the cause that is closest to my heart is children's education. that's why I support the World Vision Development Foundation which focuses on giving scholarships to deserving children. I am currently supporting a child until high school and have organized events to raise funds for the said group.

I'm also a World Vision sponsor :) I actually have a stuffed toy gift that I haven't delivered to one of the kiosks that I go to pay my fees. I feel like children need education - and that it's as important as being fed. I'm very passionate about education and my ultimate dream is to build a school for your children - something that would be as cheap as a public school but would have quality education. I still haven't figured that out yet, but may be in time...hopefully...
Thank you for the response on my discussion!

I do alot towards charity. My most passionate are for people I know that are going through hardships. I am a supporter of the Cancer Society and United Way. My company participates in the funding of help for natural disasters and I give to Goodwill that aids underprivledged families. The way I feel about it is it could be me.

Excellent dicussion, the world needs more people like you.
I am a volunteer certified tutor for The Adult Literacy Council. I enjoy helping people to feel more empowered, so they can regain control of their lives.
There are millions of illiterate people in this world, and I do not understand how they managed to graduate from high school; and many have not. It is my job to help those who wish to return to studies to get the GED and move on to bigger and better things.
Most important is being able to help these people to have more self-respect, and an optmisitc outlook.

Thats a very noble cause natsvela...Im currently working towards application of technology for enabling the faculties of people, with minimal inconvience. For Eg: an artificial ear for people, who cant hear so that they can actually hear sounds.
I dont really have anything concrete as yet,in terms of a usable system, but Iam sure this systems helps many people, once its ready.
