Its absolutely freezing here today, I still have the heating on and I'm wrapped up in a blanket sat on the sofa trying to knit whilst I spend time on mylot.
What crafts do you really enjoy doing when its cold out and you need to do something comforting.
Maybe you are the opposite, maybe its really warm where you are, in which case, what crafts are good for too hot weather!

I like to crochet. I prefer in cooler weather rather than wamer weather as when you make a blanket you tend to lay it on your lap wich then heats you up more.
I do like to also putz with plastic canvas upon occasion.
It's hard to do more crafts when I have small children whom alot of items can be messy or are inappropriate for their age.

Crocheting is the craft I do most during the winter. I actually just got back from Hobby Lobby where I purchase some gray yarn. Its cold here today so I am going to snuggle up and make a scarf, hat, and probably mittens for myself.

I think the best things for cold weather are things like knitting, crocheting, cross-stich, etc because generally you can sit wrapped in a blanket to do them :) However things like painting can be hard to do with a blanket or sweater on. Usually when Painting a paint-by-number, I have to wear a tshirt so my sleeves don't get in the way.
I also like to scrapbook but find that hard in the winter as well because I can't stay wrapped up in a blanket and still try to glue stuff, sort through my photos, etc. So that might as well be a warm-weather activity :)
