Are there any yarns you would never knit with?

Many of us have silly little hangups about particular materials. For example, I know acrylic can be a really nice yarn, especially some of the modern versions, but I just can't bring myself to spend money on acrylic when for the same price I can get mostly natural fibre yarns.
Do you find there are any fibres you just can't bring yourself to knit with?

well there are no yarns that i would definitely not knit with but there are certain types of yarns that i prefer to use over other types of yarn i prefer to use all natural yarns i would love to be able to spin my own yarn because i already have sheep and alpacas and goats...a never ending supply of wool i do not having to use the man made yarns but they are the cheapest so until i learn to spin my own yarn i will have to stick to the cheaper man made yarns

i like knitting with pretty much anything. even the really frilly stuff. i like to chalenge myself and thats probably why. i prefer to knit with yarn that will produce something really soft. i would rather spend a lil more money for better quality stuff - cuz i know i dont like itchy stuff so i think that other people would prefer that as well

I knit with just about anything. I've even knitted with string from feed sacks and I tried wire one time, but that wasn't worth the trouble. I have a lot of acrylic yarn that was given to me and I just can't make myself get rid of it, so I knit it. (Although I buy better yarn now and then, too!)
