Question For Members Here? What Is A Good Email Service?

United States

I am looking for a good email service because what I have decided to do is have a email service strictly for my MyLot notifications. That way it won't interfere with my other email that I have. I get a lot of notifications and I was going to turn off the notifications and than when I thought about it some more I decided it would work to just get a email service for the so purpose of notifications from MyLot. So can anyone give me a email service that would be good for this purpose?

Hi Grandmaof2, It seems my regular email just overflows with MyLot notifications so I figured I'd get another email service and just use it for MyLot. Thanks for your response friend of mine.

I use Yahoo for everything because for me it is the best, it lets me add files easier than hotmail and is great for to store emails and other things, give them a try...

I know there have been a lot of responses to this but I want to state my opinion on this as well. I have had yahoo for over 10 years. I have never really had a real problem with my email and if I did it was always fixed. Its free and I feel is very popular. One thing about it that I do not like is the spam. I seem to get a lot of junkmail, but other than that I love my yahoo email. I would give it a try and see what you think. Nice post and happy mylotting to you.

Hello! How are you doing? I find Yahoo Mail is very good. I've been using their e-mail service since 1998! I have G-mail account but it takes forever to load & I get lots of spam. Perhaps you should turn the notifications off that's what I did because I can't stand all that email even if it has a separate account. Pablo

Hi Sunshine, among all the email ids I had, I found gmail as the best. Though others are also getting updated with latest softwares from time to time , but somehow gmail seems to be more user friendly, getting less spam mails and very easy to chat with the person. One can compose mail and chat side by side. This is the best part I liked about gmail.

Some suggestions would be live mail, hotmail, yahoo mail, and gmail. They're all free accounts. I have a livemail and a gmail account in addition to my regular ISP e mail. I've never had any trouble with any of them.

I would suggest gmail because it could contain anything and has large storage area. You could store very large data. I use gmail for my work mail and it has never been a problem. It is very user friendly too and very good service.

I've been using gmail for years.. and so far i've had no problems with it.. For me, it's the best email service provider as it filters spam emails.. and yes, they've added a cool feature to make your email accounts look cooler, a email theme..

Personally I love Yahoo mail. I can put my mail into seperate folders when it comes in. That way I have a seperate folder for mylot, so all my new mylot mail goes in there. That way there is no confusion in my regular email account.

I would like to suggest hotmail.com. It is a free email service and it is very easy to use and set up.

Hi, I a have been using yahoo mail from the start three years ago. When I decided to get into mylot I just open a new address with the some id login. So now when in my inbox there is new mail I can sort it out easily, without have to log in with another id and password. I think every major mail service offer multiple addresses free.
