stop smoking around my child

i have a daughter who is now 5 but was born 3 and a half months preemature. her lungs were not fully developed and aren't strong. she gets pnamonia twice a year which she has right now. anyway when she goes to her dad's house who is 30 and still living with his mother. (another story) his mother smokes in the house. i've explained how this is not good for a girl who has long problems and she won't stop. what am i suposed to do?

You can stop visitations on health grounds. Make sure you have the child's medical records and any statement from the child's doctors with regards to the lung condition. File a modification for visitation or a temporary restraining order to the fact the you do not want to permit visitation until the health risk is reduced. Point out that you are not opposed to visitation in general just when it comes to the health of the child. Any assistance please send message.

thaks, i hate being the mean person and doing something like that but they just aren't understanding how important this is for her health. thanks for the info. i'll look into it for sure

If that woman wont understand? Try buying a protecting mask for your doughter that can help her to prevent fron inhelling bad air.
