Do you lie to your parents??

parents - parents are the most beautiful people on earth for everyone. The love & dedication they show for their child are unmatchable.

I am the only child of my parents & am very close to them. I share every problem of mine with them. Generally I am truthful to them. But in some instances when I am in some situation that would unnecessarily bother my parents if they come to know it,i lie to them. That is because I don't want to put them in any tense situation as I am very protective towards them. Have you ever lied to you parents?

I don't lie to my parents anymore. I really have no reason to. I am adult know so I should not have to answer to my parents anymore. When I was younger and still lived at home I will confess that I did lie occasionally. I don't think they would agree with what I was doing when I was a teenager.

yes, parents donot seem to accept teenagers work & word that easily. they become a little protective. Even teenagers don't accept the authority anymore & they seek freedom. I guess that would be the reason for lying. I have lied many times during my teen days. I don't do so very often now.Thank you for responding to the discussion.I really appreciate.

I did.The "white" lies that say not the real truth but also it's not a real lie. Now, my daughter is doing the same things, but I know when she's not telling the truth. And I say always that knowing the truth is better. We can come up with a solution to everything and she does not have to feel bad that she's hiding things from me. I'm always on her side, even if she does mistakes. All I can do is to explain what's the best to do in every situation, and it's her choice of how to act. But getting advise from your mother, is getting the best one, specially because the mother wants your best.

I'm quite close to my parents too. I almost tell everything to them, even though sometimes they are not supportive. However, i do lie to them, but only about the studies matter. I lie to them i attend the classes, but actually i always do not go to school. I just don't want to let them worry so much about me as i live far away from home. I'm just lazy, nothing else. I think most people lie to their parents, but it only matters when it comes to a serious lie. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
