What do you think of people spitting on the street?

i think the people which spit on the street don't have manners and this shows that what there family back ground is all about well i think its a very bad habbit of the people and also show there illletracy

I despise spitting. Sometimes I see men, as soon as they get outside they have to spit. I have seen women spit on the streets too. I worked with a guy once, who would go outside to sit on the bench in the summertime, and he would spit on the concrete where the benches were mounted. I could never sit by him, and knowing that he used that as his private spit area, I couldn't even sit on the benches. That is why I hate for anything of mine to fall on the ground, because the ground is so filthy, so full of germs from everyone's bodily fluids.

i don't get disgusted but i hate them. I find it rude and very inconsiderate. ALSO it is DIRTY. just imagine how diseases spread. Those airborne kind of deadly bacteria. I also have little respect for such people. I once saw this REALLY good looking guy in my class spit. Just imagine, at that particular point of time, i just lose all interest in him. It was SUCH a big turn off. Looks so uncouth and uncultured too.

I have always found such a thing to be extremely disgusting, I believe they should charge persons who do this .Imagine you are walking in front of someone who just coughs up some and spits it out right there. Its even worse is if you were eating and they did that right in front of you. Its even worse if the cough was as a result of some chest problem like emphysema

Well i just hate the people who spit. no matter where they are. There are just people who like to spit for nothing. they have made a habbit out of it. So gross

I can honestly say in all the years I have lived in the USA I have never seen anyone ever spit on the street. However when I used to see it in the UK is really disgusted me.

I'm sooo with you on this subject! I think it's down right gross and disgusting as all get out!! My dad does it all the time and I've never been able to get used to it and I never will. Even when he's driving he'll clear his throat and roll down the window and by this time, I'm covering my face going ewwwww! and he spits it out and then rolls up the window. GROSS!!

It is certainly a very bad and obnoxious habit to spit in public, whether on the street or anywhere else. If one feels too much of saliva accumulating in ones mouth then it is better to swallow it rather then spit it out or one shouls spit into a spittoon.There is also a health angle to it.When someone spits out he also helps in spreading germs contained in his saliva which lead to spreading of various diseases. People have to be educated in this. It is no use making rules or fining them or if fines are to be imposed then they must be very heavy so that the person really feels the pinch and if he is not able to pay then he should be sent to prison for at least a month.Only harsh measures can help to curb the habit but best way out is education.

It's very disgusting and I always see such people on the road. They will just wind down their car windows and spit! Gosh. But it's worse if they spit on walkway where a lot of pedestrians are using. You might just step on someone's else 'waste'. Gross. I wonder what is in their mind. Can't they think properly?

yes,it's is a rude manner for man to spit on the street.but on the contral,it's difficult to find a right place to spit.I don't know what the situation is in your location but I can not see any special appliances in the public place.I usually spit into the trash can on the street but not sure if it's the best place to do that.

i hate these type of people . They simply reflect their family background from which they had came . Most of them are uneducated and don't know how to behave in a society. Ill mannered. BUt some times we have to spit. Like some times in cough when slicky white subs came ...then we have to spit it out....but most of them have this manner to spit their saliva wherever they go... i don't know why.

So far I was thinking that people in my country were doing that. Your question reveals people are the same everywhere. (May be the count differ) I myself get provoked when I see somebody doing that. It would be very difficult for me to control myself from making it a scene.

Yeah i think so,it make me upset too.I don't like people do like this.
