What Was This Mother Thinking???

Hi LadyMarissa, They are so many cases of children being abuse and killed, I don't know what planet these parents come from even animals won't do that to their youngs, some people don't deserve to have children and this women should be put behind bars with her boyfriend for life, it makes me so angry. The insanity of some people that walk freely never ceases to amaze me. You hear crazy stuff like this every day in the news. What I find amazing is that they lived this long in society without doing something bizarre enough to be committed. And you have to wonder just how long the torture went on before someone took note of it. If they are shooting bbs at them in public, can you imagine what goes on in private?

This just makes me so sick and more and more of this sick type of crap is happening to kids every where. The world is going to H*LL in a handbasket!

I can't bear to read stories like that, so I didn't, but I truly believe that a large number of women have lost their maternal instinct. The world has become so self-centered and cruel, and the acceptance of abortion has slowly turned public opinion away from protecting children--life is no longer precious and sacred and children are burdens to many people. I'm not saying everyone is like this, there are many good parents, but our society has been so degraded and demoralized that, as a whole, our society is not even on a par with animals when it comes to treating each other well and treasuring our children.

These type of incidents are increasing. This is the result of the lack of love. People have become very selfish. The mothers are getting rather self-absorbed and so, are not bothered about the children. Now, these type of people are going very far by even abusing the childre. This is palying with the lives of innocent childrena nd thus, should be dealt with very strictly by the law.

People are freaking nuts. And that's not even THAT bad, compared to some of the news stories I read. Parents leaving their children locked in rooms, unfed, unbathed and malnourished, drowning their kids because they can't handle the responsibility, or like this one - letting their boyfriend or whatever torture their kids because why? Because the kid doesn't fit in to their lifestyle anymore? It makes me sick to think someone can carry a baby for 9 months, give birth to it and watch the miracle happen before their eyes, only to torture and kill them a few years later? What the hell is wrong with people? There are so many women who wish they could bear a child and cannot then you have these witches running around having kids they have no interest in raising. It's just disgusting to prey on an innocent child.

hi LadyMarissa, this story really saddens me since I know some people who would like to become a mother and a father but it seems impossible for them right now. Yet there are biological parents such as this mother who abuse from their own children in such absurd way. The hell with them. I got a kid of my own and I can't imagine anyone doing that to my kid. I hope when they get into prison they get a taste of their own medicine.

This is awful!! I can't understand how this woman could have simply turned her back on her children like that! As kids we look to our parents for support, safety, and above all, love. As far as I'm concerned, this woman gave none of these things to her kids. I can't begin to imagine what was going through her mind, or her boyfriend's mind for that matter. This is terrible and heart-breaking!

I can only think that, A. They have parts of their brains missing. B. They were abused as kids and think that it is normal. C. Are just evil, nasty people who should be tortured in the same manner.

This type of "punishment" is disgusting. Maybe these so called adults should be put in front of a firing line. I don't know what else to say.

I feel the same. My sister knew of a couple that used to allow their Rottweiler to get "friendly" (if you know what I mean) with their 3 year old little daughter. The dog did not go as far as physically interfering with the child but he would chase her around and leap on her in order to do so which as you can imagine terrified the kid and she would run away screaming. These two idiots thought it was hilarious. They are the sickest people! Someone apparently did report them to Child Protective Services. I don't know what happened but I pray that poor child is ok now. It is sad that there are individuals like this in the world and what is sadder is that they are blessed with children. Along with the story you have quoted it makes me very, very angry!

WOw that's crazy. I hate these child abusers. They seem to keep coming, as if its a disease thats spreading everywhere. That's not cool how a mother would let a man team up and help her abuse her children. The mother must have thought that the children were stopping her from fulfilling her life. Who knows, the world is always going madder everyday. I don't how anyone can put up with these occurances.
