I had used Vista for 1 month, and I feel it's better than Win XP, through it need higher hardware requirement. The Vista system show my eyes a better visual, and with 2G Memory my computer run Vista very quickly.
However,I do not recommend you to use Vista if your computer is older.

Hey,
Yep my laptop came with Windows Vista and boy it isn't good. The only good thing about it is that it is more secure and looks better. Other than that it is also good at wasting your RAM and slowing down your PC. Hope this helps, happy MyLotting!

I was using XP as well until I was hit with a virus that I couldn't seem to get rid of so I wiped my system and decided to put on Vista.
Well I like what I see but it's a memory hog and I only have 2 GB of RAM, which makes it move like a turtle in mud.
My computer is about 6 years old and only takes DDR ram, not DDR2 ram. So I can't go any higher than my 2 GB
If I had to do it over I would put XP back on until I have a computer that has more ram.
BTW: Vista works great on our new laptop, no issues there at all.

My friend you use very gud pack (Window XP) its work very fast its function is very easy & it well never hangout soon with varios work.
& if your change your xp ino vista for that you will have minimum 512MB ram to rum vista on your system.
mostly people like vista only for look, If you use vista only for its look so i will sujesst you that you install Vista theme in your system. Your window looks like vista.

No, I do not use vista. I'm using XP now and i think for many years to go. XP is a very good windows and i don't think i will upgrade to vista. I heard vista got a lot of problem and RAM consuming. If your computer is not enough RAM, then is will run very slow. Think twice before switching.

i have used vista but i don't find it comfortable when compared with XP i think XP is always the best and remains to be the best when compared with the vista. as my computer configuration is not up to the mark and also the vista is taking too long to load so i have shifted back to use XP again. we must have graphics card to play even some classic games on vista as i don't have the graphic card it is not possible for me to use vista while playing the games
happy lotting

I am using a windows xp too both my laptop and my desk top. I chose to stick on windows xp for the reasons that it is less expensive on upgrading. And the minimum requirements on having vista is that every thing must be over a Gigabyte of stuff.
