At times, I am thinking which employee is better- full or part time?
I mean, if you ere given a chance to choose between the two, what would you prefer?
In my opinion, part time is better since after his work he can have another one for extra income. Unlike the full time, you cannot have any other job after work and besides, when you are about to go home..you are completely STRESSED already from the whole day.
Anybody can help me on this??? thanks

I prefer to have a full time job. because when i worked 7eleven like this job salesperson. i worked for 10 hours at night time. if u have a full time job i think
you earn more money than part time job. in my opinion, part job is irregular job. i can have a dismissal any time. but full time job is regular job. anyway i prefer to have a full time job. it`s better than part time job. and i can work during for whole day. because i`m still young.

For me, I prefer to have a full time job espacially now that we are facing global economic crisis. It is more practical to have a full time job which is more stable than a part time one.
One advantage of it is that you can have your full concentration with your work. Thus, you can do your tasks well and have a good output. Full time workers are more beneficial because of the benefits and incentives you can get from the company. They are also the main concerns of the management.
Part time workers are more prone to resignations when there is a need to decrease empoyee in the organization.

Full time will be my choice. There are more benefits an employee can get if he works for full time. Let's take the example of overtime isn't it beneficial? Yes its really stressful working at full time, But isn't it that part time jobs are also stressful? I'm very sure that someone who is really dedicated will settle with just one part time job, therefore stress is not the issue here, its the matter of working for your future like everyone does. Also, you can work full time and making your hobby as a part time right? If you do so, you will be able to Enjoy both sides of life, earning and enjoying at the same time.

For me, it depends on my benefit. I will see first which one is really worth for me. Some jobs look like they pay a high salary but what we have left in our pocket seems to be not enough. You were talking about extra-income but did you think about health of the employee? Although a part time job sounds flexible more than full time but how many hour that a company require an employee to do in a day? Are you sure that you won't really get stressed also when you've finish your part time? Don't you feel annoyed with unstable schedule which always changed? I'm not saying that full-time job is better. I told you from the beginning, it depends. where it fits with my life pattern the most.

It really depends on the situation of an employee. If the employee has the capacity to do a part time job and another one to earn more income, why not? In my own oppinion,I think its better to be a full time employee for you don't have to think for another job.You can have your focus on only one job that you could be able to perform at your best.If your're working on a part time job,and having another part time job,you will find it difficult for it will be really stressful and hard to manage.

Thanks to this topic, i am finally able to choose the topic that i will be going to present tomorrow. If I were to choose which one i prefer i will choose full time rather than part time. Full time will surely secure you from any financial problem. Full time will also help you to be able to attain benefits from the company you were hired in order to to make you stay longer in the company. And lastly, you will have no trouble in looking for another job, you will also have no problem on your working schedule unlike part time.

i'm asked lots am i full time or part time. it all falls back to the hours. i milk cows am and pm 6 days a week, plus do things at my inlaws and my parents places. but i do get to spend part of the day doing what i feel like doing. you can make the same money from milking cows as you do working 9-5, then get to do what you want during the day. it's a hard choice to make sometimes, but i like my hours even if it is getting up early int he morning, but i only work a total of about 3 hrs a day milking where i'am. then help finis off milking at the inlaws. so i don't do much but i enjoy what i do. which is more important.

Just recently I was offered to take a full time position at work. I have been working part time for the last 2 years and casual the year prior that. I decided that I would take this full time position because I wasn't making enough money and if I went to apply for anything, it didn't look very good where if I had a full time job and I wanted to buy a car and go on payments it would look promising to them. There are so many more benefits you can receive from having a full time job rather than part time. Sure you don't get many days off but there are holidays you are going to be entitled to and those weekends off. What is there to do during the week anyway? For me it's just making sure my son gets to school on time but any evening events? None.
Have a nice day

Full time is good because of the money and benefit. But part-time is good because of the freedom it affords to do other things.

Of course part time job! If one doesn't have to care about his living or how much he earns, part-time job can give him all the freedom he can have.

full time is better i think.full time can ensure you get stable pay each month.you don't have to worry the daily budget.part time job is flexible but unstable, maybe you can find a good part time job,but once you finished, you have to get a new one, that is really boring.
