I like that too. Most often though, I curl up in the corner of the couch with a pillow and blanket (and often a cat).

Not at all. She usually curls up by my feet and keeps them warm!

You're lucky. I told my crying, attention starved kitty this morning that she's the reason I can't read at home anymore!

Lie supine and read.Stay on in a hammock and read. If that were a textbook I am reading I would choose to use a Table and chair.

I can't lay in bed and read unless I am sick. I sit up, with my legs under me, leaned into the corner of the couch to read. I don't know what it is about that position, it just makes me feel like a more active participant in the book.

If I am reading a novel I like to put a big pillow under my head and cover up with a blanket and lay on my side on the couch or cuddle up in a over stuffed chair. I just like to be comfortable the only time I get to read is basically all the free time that I get. Working two jobs and having a son are hard work but throw in being a full time student and its even harder.

I like to make a nest in a huge pile of pillows and blankets but that usually tends to lead to me sleeping So I usually sit at a table, a lot of the time at Starbucks

I usually read on my bed too. I'm perfectly comfortable on a desk if I'm at school or something, but if I'm at home then I'll just curl up on the bed with my book.

I sit in the couch and rest my legs in the coffee table (not too polite, but noone sees) :P
The cat part applies in my case too, but most of the times the cat tries to be right between my eyes and the book, so we have epic battles before he accepts to stay at my lap and let me read ;)
