Hi to all Well, I want top play games on my new computer. I have 512 MB of RAM but unfortunately only have 16MB dedicated to video memory. Is there a way to increase this without buying a new video card? I have Windows XP. have a nice day.

Why not buy a 1GB or 2GB RAM stick to accomply the 512mb? then you would have a good amount of RAM for XP. 16MB on a video card is extremely low, you won't be playing top games on your new computer. My computer has 4GB of RAM and the video card has 512MB and even I struggle to run some new games.

I that the video RAM is part of the video card, but I might be wrong about that, I'm not entirely sure.
