How do I know?
'Cos I got paid yesterday, that's what! $53.20, to be precise! (proof of payment attached.)
For those who don't know about Today.com, they basically pay you to set up and run a blog of your choosing on their site. You get paid $1 per post for a minimum of 100 words. Feel free to post as much as you want, however YOU ONLY GET PAID FOR THE ONE POST A DAY. (Sometimes, you have the option to set up a 2nd blog to up your income)
You also get a cut of their advertising revenue depending on how much traffic you can drive to your blog.
Oh, and they also have a referral program. $5 per referral, but your referral will have to be active (for a minimum of 10 posts) for you to earn on it.
After a month or two, they'll assess your blog to see how it's performing and can INCREASE or DECREASE your payment rate accordingly.
take care, y'all...

This is amazing and I am happy to know about this site because I am a blogger too and now I know what to do with my blog. Anyway, how does it work? What's the process?

Hi babylove1983,
I think I've pretty much explained it in my initial post. For more detailed information, read Today.com's 'FAQ' and 'Apply to VIP Blogger Program' sections.

Nice! This sounds very interesting.
Thank you for sharing this in your discussion.
I must check your profile for a link.
I can think of many different uses for this type of opportunity.
Maybe a good reason for me to start a blog and actually maintain it, daily.
This is something I have been meaning to do any way so again, I thank you for the heads up!
I am just not sure what I sure blog about.
I have so many interests.
What one would bring in the most traffic?
What one would keep me interested enough to blog daily.
Somethings I need to ponder before embarking.
Keep up the posts.
That $50 bucks I am sure can come in handy.
Best to you!

You're welcome.
You don't have to maintain it daily, just frequently, so don't feel you have to.
Check out the site to see what everyone else is blogging about. That might give you ideas. I chose to blog about the paranormal and male celebrities.
I think you should go for what you have an interest in rather than what's bringing in the most traffic. You can find ways to bring traffic to a blog, so just deal with what you feel you might be interested in blogging about.
And, yes, the money I got will definitely come in handy for me!

Hi HLFeikel,
They pay you for one post per day regardless of how many posts you may create on any particular day.
I'll place the links to my 2 today.com blogs in my profile.

I'm glad to say I got my first pay from them today--$60.22. I was kind of worried because none of my December posts were reviewed until today, but they paid immediately once that was done. The money is in my PayPal account and I'm happy. I thought that maybe my blog had been downgraded, but it looks as if they're being fair about giving newbies time to build up their traffic. Thank goodness, I signed up with Entrecard. It's made a huge difference in my page views.
I started with two blogs, but have dropped one, so it's going to take two or three months to get my next payment, but I can live with that. It's not a lot of money, but it helps.

Hello!
Well done, you.
I had the same worry too. Had about 6 posts that were sitting there for quite a while before they got approved, but they eventually did.
I've recently been downgraded as I wasn't really maintaining the 2 blogs I had on there all that much. However, I'd managed to hit the minimum payout by then.
And, yes, I agree - it's not a lot of money, but it's nice when it comes; plus if you can master how to drive traffic to your blog, then it can massage the earnings positively.
take care and all the best this year...

I have heard about Today.com before but wasn't quite sure how they worked. That might be a kinda cool thing to try, though I don't make a habbit of posting to a blog all the time. I will try to look into that. If I'm being paid for it, it'd be worth it to do.

Hey zhuuraan,
Today.com have since changed their rules, unfortunately. They no longer pay per post for new members that join. New members only get paid per unique page view. If a new blog does exceedingly well after a month or so, then Today.com may elevate it to pay-per-post status.

I gave up on Today.com because I'm not confident in my writing. I did write a few entries so I should check and see if I earned anything. Thanks for reminding me!

Wow I have signed up with that site as well but I was not sure if they paid or not. I did create a blog but I only created one post so far. I will have to go back into my account and check it out and see if I can make the payout as well. Thank you so much for sharing this information, and yet another way to make some money online, no scam! Happy mylotting to you and thanks again for sharing this!

Sweet, thanks! I'll totally check that out. Apparantly the site is so popular now there is a 7-day wait for set-up while they approve your proposed blog idea.
