I used to wear mismatched socks all the time as a teenager and mismatched earrings, too. I eventually got away from the sock thing but the habit with the earrings has stuck with me up to today. I have two holes in each ear and none of my earrings ever match.

And I thought I was the only one, I usually have a diamond post in my right ear and a dangling crystal in my left. I have 2 holes in each ear also but don't usually wear anything in the top holes anymore,
That is too funny.

Nope, very rarely will my socks match. When my kids were home and we had tons of socks around I told them no one could see if they matched under their boots and pants. My husband and my feet are about the same size so we started buying one color of socks years ago. So the socks all 'match' at first glance. As long as they are clean, who cares.

All of my socks are very similar. The only real difference is that some of them have gray bottoms and some don't. I don't really worry about it too much. If I am in a hurry and I am grabbing lose socks that have not been paired up yet I just grab the 2 on top.

My socks hardly ever match, it started as a fashion statement when I was a teenager then when I became a mom of teenagers it is more like trying to find matching socks is way too much effort....you see I still have 5 teenage boys at home, and when you look at it I probably have over 100 floating around here and I hate, hate...did I say hate to match socks, so that only happens every few months, we have a large sock basket and I wash them and stick em in the basket and it is a free for all.
I even tried getting pink socks thinking my boys wouldn't want to wear them, they told me, let someone say something they cover my feet, so if I do wear matching socks I may give my sister a stroke so I'll just keep grabbing whatever from the basket, hehe
Peace and smiles
